I was just out crawling around in the helo (they finally lifted the floorboards) and on the way back to the office, I passed a tech working on one of the large computer cabinets. I swear, he could be a younger clone of my first Navy boyfriend 43 years ago!
Boy, did that bring back a lot of memories. Was I ever really that young??

Da cave is all cleanded. Go Me! I dusted, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms and even mopped. Too much domesticity for one day I say. Anywho, 'tis nice out and the water in the cee-mint pond is clear and cool. I foresee time in the cee-mint pond with my favorite flotation device except mine is purple and blue.
MOOOOOOM I indeed have one memorable cheap date in Jaxtown. 
Both the kids are at school! W00t! I’ve got lots of unpacking to do, but for now I think I might just take a nap.
Dunno if it’s my computer (doubt it) or the server (more likely) but I’m waiting waiting waiting for a drawing to open so I can add my parts to it. It’s taking for-freekin-ever - I even did a restart and closed all my other files.

I got a voicemail yesterday from the management company at my new apartment. Apparently, there was a glitch in the online rent payment. I checked my checking account and sure enough, the rent hadn’t been deducted. So I walked a backdated paper check to the office. They didn’t charge a late fee as it was a technical glitch, but it makes me a bit unsure about doing the online payments.

I woke up too early, stayed up, irked my morning shift, then fell back asleep. This is getting old. I think I am going to drop my morning shifts at irk. I’ll talk to the office first and make sure it won’t be a problem.
It’s a sunny, hot, 90 degrees outside, supposed to get up to 93.
I’m killing a little time before running out to do some errands. Going out at lunch/dinner time around here can mean sitting through 2-3 cycles at each light. That annoys me, so I’ll wait until 2 to leave.
I’m glad some of y’all understand why going out stresses me. I feel like such a baby.
At least I can’t say I’m losing money because I planned on taking the next few weekends off anyway. Not that it ever goes as planned, but the pressure is off to irk and that helps me to relax a little.
Truth be told though, the main reason I don’t want to go it there are going to be people there I haven’t met but already know I don’t like. It’s my friend’s granddaughter’s first birthday, the one that was born addicted to drugs. I already don’t like my friend’s daughter (there I said it). I didn’t like her all that much before this, and I like her even less now. Unfortunately, I will be meeting the baby’s father and his family. I won’t go into all the details, but I have heard enough to know that there is nothing there to like.
I will do my best to be positive and keep my opinions to myself.
Spidey in spite of what everybody says, I think you would like DL or DW. I’ve been to DL when I was young and I liked it. It is expensive though, and crowded. I missed going to DW when I was in FL because Seaworld wore Sah-son out (he was 5 at the time) and he slept the entire next day, which was the day planned for DW.

Howdy! Back at the Lodge until 430 when we will head out to Cirque De Soliel. That I am looking forward to. I have only walked 4.79 miles today at the Magic Kingdom. Mmmoooommmm. it is travel agent training.
It is hot here. This little break was not on the agenda so I feel blessed just to be off my aching feet for a while. Tomorrow we are going to Cape Canaveral and touring the Disney Dream Cruise Ship and having lunch on board. Then we have a group dinner and sales presentation and done. My flight out of Orlando is at 0900 and I should be home by mid day on Sat. I don’t ever want to go anywhere again. Tonight after Cirque we are on our own at Disney Springs but I have already decided I will catch the first bus I find to come back to my room. I had a terrible night last night. I could not go to sleep until around 2 am and had to be up early. I hope to sleep tonight.
Howdy Y’all! Had a nice relaxin’ float around the cee-mint pond. I even fell asleep for a bit. Not to worry I had applied a 45 spf sunscreen shortly before that happened. I did my corpse on a float impersonation for a while. That’s where I float down to the deep end and remain absolutely still. I am convinced that should anyone happen to wander into the back yahd and by the cee-mint he/she would think there’s a corpse on a float. What? It amuses me.
When OYKW arrives, chikin shall be grilled whilst sallit is bein’ made and cheesey bread gets baked up. An easy, quick and somewhat healthy dindin tonight. Tomorrow will be burgers and fries cause I plan ahead.

I feel like I could go to sleep right now but I’m fightin’ it off. If I don’t I’ll be wide awake at four a.m. and a retired person should never be awake at four a.m. 
Sketties were yum!! So was the heavenly hash ice cream we had a bit after. Now I’ve got a pug snoring on my left foot. Such a little dog makes so much noise!!

One more day of walking. Today I did 6.77 miles. Cirque De Soliel was excellent. I highly recommend it to everyone. Almost worth all the aggravation. Almost. I really hope I sleep better than last night. Early up and at 'em. We are having a nice African breakfast then a nice long bus ride in a/c and not on foot. I do understand the actual ship tour will be about 4 miles of walking. My feet hurt fiercely.
I wanna go home.
