I am wildly disorganized. I like to be working on numerous projects at once, and I like to keep them half-done, if possible. I am working on a beaded tiara… I’ll get it done, someday, if I can find it in this mess <grumble>.
I am a cat lover, and my board name is actually my cat’s name. I am ruled by my cat. She is currently telling me I must stop typing, and pet her right now. Gotta go…

I’m a middle-aged, married, grandfather of five.
Politically, I’m a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. Basically that means, I don’t care what you do, as long as you don’t expect me to pay for it. That’s the flip answer, it’s a little more complicated than that.
I’m cynical, sarcastic, and agnostic.
My only real talents are figuring things out and fixing things, though I do a few other things fairly well.

Well, I know I’m here unfashionably late, and the guys and gals who’re coming in here looking to see if they’ve been ‘done’ are all but spitting on me for taking up precious FPK bestowed titles, but I don’t care.

As the royal scribe snuffs the lamp that burns the midnight oil, he ponders the hazards of home brew heraldry and wearily shakes his head. He shambles down the corridor past the night watch mumbling the password. Entering the Fairy Princess’ antechamber he finds her fast asleep, head down upon the writing table.
He pauses to add another page of parchment to the folio of petitions that continue to arrive at the castle’s portcullis each day. Noiselessly, he extinguishes the guttering candles that are near their nub. After coiling her long tresses in one hand he deftly lifts her from her chair and carries her to her chambers. A quick whisper is all it takes to waken the drowsing handmaiden. She pulls back the counterpane as the scribe gently places her upon the featherbed’s deep comforters.
As he departs her boudoir, the scribe pauses to look back at the dreaming visage of the Princess. He hearkens back to summers long past filled with the hum of life and a scent of flowers twined into flowing braids. A faint smile crosses his face and a twinkle gleams in his eye as he turns and makes his way back to his empty chambers.
