I have read the pit thread and I’m not sure what to say. I was tempted to start a new thread for Super Bowl Sunday, but I doubt that it would change anything.
I agree with both of you on certain points.
Obfus certainly speaks his mind, but I like that in a person. I’ve had enough people stab me in the back to realize that you should cherish a person that is honest with you. Honesty is rare…too many people think that “little white lies” are beneficial, when in reality, they’re doing you a disservice.
Zen may be loud and a bit abrasive…but he makes people feel welcome. People remember him because he’ll talk to anyone and find a way to connect with them.
I respect both of you. I want you guys to sit in the jacuzzi and argue. I want the two of you to get drunk and agree to disagree. I want you to be adults. I want you BOTH to be here!
Sue, feel free to wash your eyeballs and know that I’ll be there with bells on. I’ve even persuaded my neighbor to come. You will all like her. She is an intelligent, witty and just plain swell person.
A little over 3 weeks until the event, and Demo and I are about 95% sure that we will be attending, keeping our fingers crossed neither of us get sick or anything.
I hadn’t opened this thread until just now and missed all the hoopla, but I do hope that ob and baglady attend, they were waaaayyy cool at our SD BBQ back in August and Demo and I would love to hang out with them again.
I also hope pricciar can make it, and pricc, if you plan on making an entire weekend out of the trip, you know you are more than welcome to chill at our place.

Well, since it’s the Sunday RIGHT before my first day of classes for the spring semester, I will have to be good with the liquor. Even though class is at 5, i’d rather not risk it :). Also, if I get that student assisting job, I may be working at 8 am the next day. But I will be there.
