I ended up going to irk this morning. I did feel better after sleeping for thirteen hours straight. Plus Culinary Boy’s fever broke so there is finally complete health here for the first time in two weeks!
I need to scrounge up dinner from somewhere.
Making an afghan our of yarn scraps. So I’m turning this off for the day. Catch y’all tomorrow!

I need to decide on some brekkie. I think bacon, aigs, grits and toast would be good. First, however, I must caffienate some more.

Brekkied and purtified for deheathenization. Food is also all ready to take for brunch. OYKW will bring it with him. I’m goin’ ahead cause I decided to participate in the Adult Bible Study class that meets at 9:30 A.M. He ain’t into that so he’ll come later with the stuff. Also, I’m a Lay Reader this mornin’. I get kinda OCD when I do that. I just have to know the Lectionary is opened to the passages for this mornin’, thus, I have to look myself even though I know the Altar Guild folk know perfectly well to do so and did so yestiddy while settin’ up for services this mornin’. Still, I have to look for myself.
Now y’all have another layer of my weirdness to look at.

Up, still cleaning up Christmas (yeah, I know, finally). Organizing ornaments and concerned because I’m not sure where a bunch of my decorations are. There must be a box or bag hiding in the basement.
I have a free ticket to the Home & Garden Show, so once I have the house under control I’m going to go there and then maybe to the art museum and conservatory, and then I have some grocery shopping to do.
I’ma deheathenate tonight.
Guess I should go find the rest of my breakfast, too.

Everyone’s sick. No church today.
Back from running around. We had breakfast, stopped at Lowe’s, Staples, WalMart, and JoAnn’s for various stuff, including fabric for living room curtains. Now I’m facing an afternoon of knitting and stuff. It’s raining but not too terrible cold, so that’s good.
As we were driving back, a guy in a car next to us was signaling for me to open my window. He wanted to know what kind of car I was driving. He said it looked sharp. I was nice and didn’t say that he’d have to drop about 200# to fit into it - he was a rather large fellow. Oh, and I finally rode in the Miata. I don’t like it - very uncomfortable for me. But that’s fine - it’s not my car.
That’s all I’ve got. Maybe more later.

It was snowing earlier today. Didn’t stick, but it made a nice layer of slush.
I like Sundays. Lazy morning in bed, good brekkie and then I put away yesterdays laundry, stripped the bed, ran the dishwasher. Now I will go put the sheets in the dryer, pack for Tulsa, line the last of the cupboards in the hallway then start filling in Greencard application paperwork. Yay!
Ribeyes for dinner with roasted veggies, Num!
Made french toast this morning with left-over Irish soda bread. (The Americanized version, with sugar and eggs in it.). It was teh num. Iffen you’ve never made Irish soda bread (the Mericanized version) you oughta. It’s very quick and easy, and very good!

Howdy Y’all! All deheathenated and brunched. Also boiled a chikin to make some chikin sallit for a sick friend. As soon as the ckikin is cooled I’ll chop it up. I already have onions, bell pepper, apple and pecans chopped. Then I can mix it all with some mayo and voila chikin sallit! I’ve been productive!

I managed to finish another lap robe size afghan, so yay for that - it helped me use up a lot of scraps. That’s about all I’ve accomplished today - oh wait, I loaded the dishwasher and ran it.
It’s still raining but it’ll stop in a few hours, and tomorrow is supposed to be sunny. And that’s all I’ve got. So I guess I shall adjourn to the couch till the next MMP.
