Home, but on call. 5 or 6 of my coworkers will be in tomorrow and if they finish their work to a certain point, I’ll have to go in and do my part. So no visit to my mom tomorrow. I see a little yardwork getting done.
Other than that, TGIF. Daughter is going out with friends tonight, so I’m thinking **FCD **should take me to dinner. Soooooooooo, I got nothing…
I just got my sister’s stuff sent off to her. Now to call Other Morning Lady back and then I’ll be fully justified in playing Oblivion all night.

I think I’m in trouble. YP made a post on facebook about it bein’ national grammar day and bein’ a grammar dork. i replied that I don’t think of him as a grammar dork. I think of him as a church nerd.

I’m back, did you miss me? My computer died two weeks ago. I’ve been using hubby’s, but it’s been kinda like sharing an underwear drawer. So, he surprised me with a new iMac today. It’s sooo boodiful. And HUGE! I’m not sure I like the weird, little keyboard, but I can still use my old one. I’ll try it for a while.
Anyway, I’m back. 
Welcome back picu! Never share an underwear drawer. You’ll end up pickin’ out a pair of drawers in the dark and go all day wearin’ a pair of hubby’s tighty whities.

It’s Friday night. I’m going to go to bed early. Everyone is sick including the baby and I will work out and then maybe eat some cookies (cancelling the workout) and go to bed. Dinner tomorrow will be sausages and roasted vegetables. Dinner on Sunday will be pot roast. I am all organized!

Other than that, all is well essentially. heard today from friends at the first Friday principal’s meeting that there was a collective WTF? when the ex-boss announced I was “leaving”.
Been answering e-mails and texts from friends all day. I’m being diplomatic.
Until June 15, when my last check clears. Then hang on for the storm…

It’s been a busy morning so far. **FCD **and I took our riding mower to Amish Dave’s small engine repair for its spring tune-up and servicing. We should get it back within a week or so. I’ve also got a load of clothes in the washer and I spot-sprayed the dining room carpet which will feel the wrath of the carpet cleaner shortly. I just finished and egg sammich and I’m having a piece of cake to ensure I have enough sugar in my system to do my chores.
**FCD **and daughter dropped her car off for servicing (10K miles already!) and the two of them have headed to a fish store somewhere in VA. It’s an excuse to try out the new Garmin. I’m here because I’m on call this weekend. rah. But I’ll get my laundry done and maybe start another afghan. I finished a shawl last night so when I finally go to Mom’s, I’ll have 3 shawls and at least 3 afghans. I may also have a little studio time - as soon as I get everything glazed, I can fire another load.
Grey and dreary outside, so I won’t be futzing in the yard. But lots of greenery is popping out of the ground - daffydills and tulips and daylilies and hosta and who knows whatall… yay! Spring may actually arrive this year!!
Up. Have seen brother off (OK, I saw him go out the door), had cereal with blueberries and bananas, knit another row in my sweater, and done some surfing.
Have to do some park stuff, find something to take for a potluck, and do laundry.
Off to get stuff done.

First load of laundry in the dryer, about to come out. Second load in the washer. Carpet has been cleaned. Daughter just called - her car is ready and it has to be picked up before 1 - they won’t be back by one so I have to go settle up, get the keys, and get them to park it somewhere that we can pick it up later.

Make that laundry triplets. Though I’ve finished up all my laundry. I have a roast beast in the slow cooker. Tomorrow is brunch Sunday at the church house and I thought a roast beast and some green beans would be nice.
Eatin’ today at da cave is whatever. I got sammich stuff. Of course after that huuuuuuge brekkies hunger is not a feelin’ I’m feelin’.
Last load in the dryer. First load, which was unders and other white stuff, is currently a cat bed - I shall roust him and get it all folded. Wonder what I can find on netflix to entertain me…
Laundry quadruplets.
Everyone is still sick and cranky. Mr. Lissar’s going to a small grading at the dojo to help out, and then Mom’s coming at 3:30 so that we can go to Confession, and then home to the sick cranky kids.
I keep wanting banh mi. What I really want is for someone else to make it for me.
Back from the Mutt Strut! It was loads of fun, even if we got a cold front in and froze our asses off in the wind.

I got back from Atlanta laaaate Thursday actually early hours of Friday morning then bumbled my way through Friday at work and mr ems and I were in bed sleeping at 8.30 last night. Wild and crazy people we are. I finally unpacked my case and started the laundry this morning ready to re-pack tomorrow for Tulsa on Monday. Rah!
Today I will do a quick grocery run, get a pedicure then start on mr ems birthday present. We are not doing presents this year but I am working on scanning all his photos of his kids/family/fun stuff and collating everything on a USB so he can have them on his computer and in the digital photo frame instead of stacked in a closet. Hopefully he will like.
