The Spring into Spring MMP

Glad he’s doing well; can he play the piano now?

What is your home-brew as I thought that usually refers to beer?

Saw 'em online. Nothing like tin dog feet.

Meeks. BF should go to HR, PDQ. and :appropriate and inappropriate appendages crossed for the new job :

Ruble, glad Bro is doing well.

(((sah-dog)))) hope he’s gonna be OK.

Still up, trying to wind down.

Last week there was an odd drive by shooting near Arundel Mills in front of the Costco; a driver in one car shot at another. Not much to go on.

By Tuesday there had been a number of random shootings in the area including two shots into the front of a truck on the ICC (Inter County Connector) and even a report of shots fired at the NSA building.

Around 10:30pm this evening I was playing a computer game and had my scanners on when I heard something odd going down back up near Arundel Mills. I got curious, jumped in my car and took a drive.

They caught the guy, right in the same spot he did the shooting last week. And I managed to get the only video of the scene. So I’m pretty wired right now, hard to get to sleep…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 81 for the day. Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 71 with rain. The high on Firday will be 48. :dubious: Winter and Spring are fightin’ it out apparently. Also, Firday is Stations of The Cross and Fish ‘n Chips night over to the church house. Your truly is chef de cuisine. Thus, I am takin’ off Firday afternoon from irk. I have to get all the stuff and get it ready so I figure that’ll keep me busy enough for an entire afternoon. The slaw will be made Thursday evenin’ as I prefer it to set overnight.

Ruble yay for Bro doin’ well!

gigity dang! Hope you got back to sleep for a little while.

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Hump Day Y’all!

Up, caffeinated, off to work.

Wow, giggi. Hope you gets some sleep,

Blurf.

I have to find out if I need to make a French toast run tonight. Another metric buttload of snow forecast for tomorrow. :grumble:

I’ll take spring: the birds, the trees, the exposed cleavage, the tornadoes…

Bloif.

I was gonna get up earlier today, but I foolishly set my radio alarm thing at way too low a volume, so I didn’t hear it. Ah well, it’s not like I had a particular reason to get up early or anything.

I have to sort out something about an important document today, and make a phone call. I hate talking on the phone. Oh well.

We are at home awaiting C&R Rooter. The drain cannot keep up with the clothes washer. Fish poop, duck weed, sand, gravel, improper use of the dispose-all and who knows what else.
Hmm, I’d better count cats and dogs…

rainy here, but the weekend is supposed to be sunny, which is good because I’m going to Joisey for the weekend, and I really don’t like fussing with the tarp to keep Jazzy safe from precipitation

I recall Joan Rivers discussing rockets being fired at Israel: “If New Jersey was shooting rockets at us, we would wipe them out!”

flytrap why would Joisey be firin’ rockets at Arkansaw? :stuck_out_tongue:

I want to fire rockets in the general direction of a couple of participants this mornin’. However, the most I can do is perhaps fart in their general direction.

Hope MOOOOOOM is doin’ ok with her [del]scalpin’[/del] surgery this mornin’.

Ok, back to irk.

Why wouldn’t they?
I read “The Situation” is s’posed to move from New Joisey to Arrrgh-Kansas; the press release said this move is expected to raise the IQ of both states.

Because we have all those Titan II silos, due to losing the war.

“That’s not a rocket. This is a rocket!”

Wow! I didn’t realize the Titan II was from the 1860’s.

Ignorance fought. Thanks, Flotrap!

I used to have Garfield slippers like these.

It was a little creepy having him staring at me while I peed.

Funny you should mention that. He is a fairly famous person in church music circles and played guest shots with some major league performances starting at like age 14. And was probably the only combat infantry officer in Nam to get pulled off the line to do a wedding. OK – where the infantry thing comes from is a long story. But the short version is when he plays the piano it usually costs someone cash to listen.

The homebrew is the small tumbler of my potato juice I had to help wash down my beer. My brother is the artist ------- what I got more is what folks would call “craft”.

And “crass”. But you already knew that part.

Home and cancer-free - at least the top of my head is. The whole area is still numb, but it should wear off any time now. I should probably swallow a handful of extra-strength Tylenol in anticipation. I’ve got a big, poofy bandage that I’m not supposed to remove till Firday afternoon. Before then, I’ll need to buy some non-stick dressings and the ointment the Dr called for. And I think I’ll need to fashion a headband of some sort to keep the dressing in place, since it’s kinda tough to attach bandage tape to hair. OK, it’ll attach easily enough, but the taking out is a pain.

I’ve also got a script for percocet that’ll be ready in an hour or so, plus some antibiotics. I asked the Dr to call the CVS in Leonardtown, and he called the one in LaPlata, so Leonardtown is going to call LaPlata and with luck, it’ll all be waiting for **FCD **when he gets out of his physical therapy.

Other than that, just another day in paradise. I expect I’ll be hurting for a while, but all in all, things went well. **FCD **said I probably won’t even have a bald spot - we shall see.

So Happy Wednesday after app!

You are very welcome.

And remember, if stopped by an Hispanic Policeman, “Su Madre es puta” means, “Good morning, Officer.”

Happy Hump Day!

It’s cloudy and wet in the armpit, mostly wet because it’s in the 40s and all the snow is melting.

Sah-dog is doing well. I think the first seizure I wasn’t sure about was probably a dream because it stopped when I touched him and that doesn’t work with seizures.
This time I didn’t get a chance to get to him before it stopped. Even though he didn’t lose control of his bowels and bladder and he recovered pretty quickly I’m still taking him to the vet. From what I’ve read online it’s not unusual for older dogs to start having seizures and it’s not a big concern unless they are long and/or frequent.
He will be 14 this year and other than being half blind and mostly deaf he’s not in bad shape.

I’m not going to get half of what I wanted to get done done today.
I don’t know of it’s stress or something but I woke up - not gong there TMI - but I am back to the original problem which started all my doctor/hospital visits. I still haven’t heard about the surgery, which I had wanted them to take their time but now I think I just want it done.

Glad things went well for your brother Ruble and also for you head FCM.

As promised.

Still much to do today.
