I just popped a percocet - hope it kicks in fast - my head is starting to hurt. I can take the next one around 9.
**FCD **just said he doesn’t want supper. That’ll translate to mac-n-cheese or a sammich or something. I wish I had veggie soup, but I don’t. Oh well… But I do have ice cream sammiches and I’m pretty sure they’re medicinal.
**Mom **the actual concern about Percocet is the Tylenol involved, which is 325mg, which means you can take 3 of them to equal a 1000 mg Extra Strength Tylenol. So you can take more if needed (I did take up to 3 when I broke my leg - every 4-6 hours).
Also try a 500mg Tylenol with that Percocet - they work well together.
I say as a man who sees a pain doctor every month.
Pain sucks.

Howdy from da cave! I am relaxatin’ with a cold sody water. I decided I should go ahead and take my outdoor cooker on over to the church house since I’m headin’ that way this evenin’. It’ll be one less thing to haul over there tomorrow when it shall allegedly be rainin’.
Someone sent me a text that was so despicable I thought I was goin’ to have to take to the bed with a valium and gin ‘n tonic. It said, and I quote, “Are you going to buy or make the slaw for Friday?” I mean, the very idea of sto’ boughten coleslaw! The very idea that I would have even considered buyin’ sto’ boughten coleslaw! My text back said, “The very idea of sto’ bought slaw makes me feel faint.” The answer I got back was “YAY! I was hoping you would make it.” The text was from YP’s wife. She lurves my slaw.
MOOOOOOM I’m thinkin’ some glitter and perhaps a ribbon on that haid bandage would be oh so fashionable. You could wear it to :eek:Wally*World:eek:. You’d be the envy of everyone there.
I wish I had a bigger truck.
Then again, if I did, every time I put gas in it I’d be wishing I had a smaller truck.
I’m debating leaving tonight or tomorrow.
If I leave tonight I may not get a parking space in front of the house and we have a lot to carry in. The back is probably going to be a sloppy mess. Tomorrow is supposed to snow, so it may not be a nice drive home.

Howdy Y’all! Home from Agape Supper over to the church house. There were some killah soups there tonight. Five of ‘em to be exact. I wanted them all and considered the possibility of jugglin’ five bowls of soup and a couple of sammiches, but I was a good bear and didn’t do that. I did sample a creamed veggie soup, a tortellini soup, and a southern delicacy known as potlikker. There was a taco soup and another veggie soup as well. Plus aig sallit, tuna sallit, chikin sallit, and pineapple sammiches. Yes pineapple. It’s a southern thang.
Also, it appears I need to plan on enough fish ‘n chips for forty people on Firday. I called the Pubic sto’ and ordered an extra five pounds of catfish filets. That should do the trick. Also, realizin’ the fact that there will very likely be the need for an extra person and an extra cooker, I recruited somebody who has a cooker tonight. I’m sure all those folks Genuflectin’ and makin’ The Sign of The Cross durin’ Stations of The Cross will work up quite an appetite. 
Should be “Tu madre”. Friendlier.
Worked, went to the Bistro for Canes Corner. Sodboy #2 signed my jersey.

Bowling was canceled (again) for weather. By six o’clock, it had gotten colder and the rain had turned to sleet. Winter, just die already!
WTF is that? I’ve got access to 12½ million BTU burners that will make a balloon & people in the basket go up but it won’t do much for meltin’ snow.
