If someone can find the link to this one, one of my favorites was I believe a pit thread with a mythical confrontation between Emeril and some Eldritch horror (it wasn’t Cthulu for some reason, but another).
It was a pitting of Emeril’s horrible cooking that would knock out even a mythical beast.

For laughs, The Return of Sarcastic Answer Theatre is a beauty and the Mike Hunt For President thread (link in an earlier post by Rick) was maybe the first to have me crying with laughter.

There was a thread posted by a man, who in high school had been at the scene of a gang rape and was powerless to stop it. But I can’t remember the thread title or the poster.
It was Master Wang-Ka, Sometimes, the bad guys win. Very painful thread.
Man, I wish Master Wang-Ka had stuck around. He was, indeed, masterful. I wish I’d offered to pay his fees. Totally worth it for more of those posts.
