Aside from the funny joke, he seems to be similar to Ben Shapiro, a person who cannot possibly believe the crap they spout out of their face holes. Most of the time, I dismiss it. But this is a person, who has millions of people who listen to him for some reason, making himself look like a moron, and why? Just to defend one stupid statement from the President? I honestly don’t understand why someone would make themselves look like an idiot just for that.
Oh, it does. That’s how I know it’s a staggering amount. But I’m not surprised you don’t understand how that works, considering how many things you don’t understand.
I’m not entirely sure why two people on an anonymous message board are sniping at each other, when actual real people are demonstrating their idiocy to many people that follow their lunacy.
In reality, New Zealand hasn’t had community spread of the coronavirus in months and has just 23 active cases of the disease, all in New Zealanders returning from overseas who are currently in quarantine. Meanwhile, the U.S. has the worst coronavirus outbreak in the world."
“If you’ve followed international news at all, you know this new advisory from the Trump regime makes absolutely no sense.”
I guess mad because, like most of the world, US citizens are banned from entering due to any sane leadership from Repulsicans.
Trump a “race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot”; the “ISIL man of the year,” referring to the Islamic State; a “kook,” “crazy” and a man who was “unfit for office.” - Sen. Lindsey Graham
Mr. Trump a “pathological liar” who is “utterly amoral,” a “serial philanderer” and a “narcissist at a level I don’t think this country’s ever seen.” - Sen Ted Cruz
a “terrible human being” who had made “disgusting and indefensible” comments about women. - Mick Mulvaney former cabinet member OMB and DumpsterFire Chief of Staff
Disinformation campaign combined with sour grapes over disease-ridden Americans being barred from more and more countries. The “health risk” to Americans is that they might find out the truth, which makes the Current Administration look bad.
I gave up on that hope during the 2016 campaign when he trashed a gold star family. “Boy, that will make the conservatives turn away from him.” I thought. “They love veterans.”
It didn’t even make the needle twitch. That’s when I started recommending the Dems work on wooing the Apathy party rather than trying to appeal to the MAGAts’ better nature – they have none.
I’m a New Zealander, so am somewhat parochial -
but these sorts of actions have to be doing incalculable damage to the reputation and standing of the US. these are the actions of a petty bully, not of someone to be respected and worked with.
The sad reality is, with our size we are but a flea riding on an elephant and are not really going to have an impact on the US one way or the other - but these actions have to add up at some point don’t they?
Oh absolutely. Trump has single-handedly upended the world order that has been in effect for 75 years. It will be decades, if ever, until the U.S. commands any respect in the world.
As that Irish pundit wrote recently: the U.S. has long been loved, hated, admired and/or respected – but this is the first time that it’s been pitied. It’s not a good feeling.
Not sure if this is the correct thread, but I’ll put this message here anyway.
I’m watching Trump’s press conference. He just took a question about travel to Europe. He went on a bit about how pro athletes have to travel to play, said that the US was working with Europe, and other blather. Then he came out with this (paraphrased):
“That pandemic in 1917–it probably hurried up the end of the Second World War, because all the soldiers were sick.”
