In his increasingly paranoid delusions, Donald may believe that federal agents storming Hilary’s or Obama’s front door and frog marching them away is just the thing to win the election for him, justification for said arrests be damned.
At this point he’s so far over the edge he’s the Wile E Coyote (“SUPER stable genius”) of politics. It’s just a question of at what point he starts to fall.

This morning on NPR, a commentator quoted trump’s latest BS about how he rescued Michigan gov from kidnappers and Biden/Obama/Hillary should all be arrested blahblahblah. Then she said to her guest, cool as a cucumber, “How would you respond to that?” as if she had just cited a rational policy suggestion of some sort. To his credit the guest allowed as how trump was out of control, and should not be president, etc., but why is an NPR commentator still asking normal-sounding questions??

The proper response to her request for a comment (and I KNOW you can’t do this on librul mainstream radio) was: “COMMENT?? YOU WANT ME TO COMMENT?? THE MAN IS OUT OF HIS FUCKING MIND AND HE NEEDS TO BE KICKED OUT OF OFFICE AND LOCKED IN A CAGE!!” Maybe a toned-down, but still biting version of that.

Looks like Donald won’t be getting the Durham report before Nov. 3. Hence the meltdown. He was counting on revealing the Hilary/Obama treason to save his bacon.
Will there be charges of some sort, does he think, or is this just on general principles?
Should we believe Barr? Or is this a feint and there will be a last-minute announcement about an “investigation” the day before the election?
Apparently it’s Durham who is taking his time in an effort to be thorough but I don’t think any of us would be surprised if Barr grabbed some random papers off Durham’s desk and publicized them if he thought it would help Trump at the polls.
The White House is in complete disarray. Jared, Ivanka, Christie, Barr, and others have dropped out of sight. Senators are refusing to have or disclose COVID tests so they won’t get booted off the judiciary committee for 2+ weeks. Trump looks like absolute shit, a sick man going completely off the rails, and McConnell is bitching about how the dollars aren’t coming in and is worried about the South, while at the same time saying there is no chance for a stimulus bill… but they are still preceding with the USSC appointment.
Every single thing the GOP is doing right now is strongly signalling expectations of a massive loss. People are motivated to vote and Trump keeps giving them motivation during the voting season.
Nancy Pelosi is really, really good at needling her opponents. The other person who possessed this skill was Harry Reid - he was also a master at getting under people’s skin with a little trolling here and there.
I remember during the home stretch of the 2012 campaign, when Romney was a little slow in releasing his tax returns, Reid predicted Romney’s returns would show he paid little or no taxes for years (i.e. what ultimately proved true with Trump). Reid had absolutely no factual basis to make that claim, but putting that out there publicly caught the attention of the media, who hounded Romney even more until he finally did release his taxes.
