The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

I wrote that 3 hours and 13 posts ago!

I am a genius! A very stable one!

To be fair (shudder), he is taking about two different teams. Maybe the women’s team has some younger members his cronies can traffic or something.

WTF? Does he mean by “the U.S. will take them,” he’ll take them and ship them to Iran, or Honduras?

Sorry, sorry. I’m asking what the dipshit means and that’s an impossible question.

“‘Voon,’ said the mattress.”

Trump 8 hours after that: “All Players, Officials, and Fans will be treated like the “STARS” that they are!”

No, that’s something they say they care about, but only enough to still blame Clinton/Obama/Biden/Insert Democrat here.

If that’s the case, why, then, has Rip van Simple pulled the cork from the Strategic Oil Reserves to keep the oil prices down?

It’s been said before about the felon and his flacks, but it bears repeating: We are now living in Alice’s looking glass.

Shouldn’t that be either a period (aka full stop) or a semicolon? I can see a comma after the interjection.

What about know what two independent clauses are? What if I’m mistaken?

That can’t be right. Otherwise, Rip van Simple would never have gotten a SAG card.

I don’t know where to post this, but follow the link quickly before someone takes the statue down.

A Statue of Trump and Epstein Re-enacting ‘Titanic’ Pose Appears on National Mall

The installation is the latest in a series of satirical statues created by an anonymous group of artists called the Secret Handshake.

A gold-colored statue inspired by the “Titanic” pose has appeared on the National Mall — but instead of portraying Jack supporting Rose from behind as she pretends to fly, it depicts President Trump and the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A plaque at the statue’s base read: “The tragic love story between Jack and Rose was built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches. This monument honors the bond between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, a friendship seemingly built on luxurious travel, raucous parties and secret nude sketches.”

The statue, which appeared Tuesday and shows Mr. Trump gazing at Mr. Epstein as he held his outstretched arms, is the latest in a series of satirical statues that have appeared in Washington since October 2024, just before the presidential election.

Too bad we’ve sent a good lot of our defensive bombers to the UK and the Middle East.

One or two bombs could take out that satire and Congress at the same time.

I already posted that in this thread.

Rip van Simple has a party line call with real leades and it goes as well as you would expect.

And what job, exactly, might that be, you traitor?

Now he doesn’t want the “Noble”!

The convict doth protest too much.

The felon’s mouthpiece really does need Mister Subliminal.

That’s one huge if there, isn’t it? If they’ve already registered to vote, then they’re no longer the felon’s targets. Moving on.

What is she on about “small fraction”? Plenty of women change their surnames the instant they get married. It’s been a tradition in the United States since before the country began. Nice touch, though, on saying those who’ve already registered to vote are fine, but not saying the rest of that out loud. Those married women who haven’t registered to vote yet and those who will marry and change their names are SOL.

Yo, Pete! Yeah, you, the war criminal. You might want to work on keeping your drones secure.

I don’t think Trump even knows what he’s trying to accomplish or what’s going on. I’d say there’s probably a 50/50 chance at this point that his handlers are just showing him AI-generated Fox News clips of how everything is going awesome.

sic

Que?
The Daily Beast is now AI?

Nah, that’s just the kind of typo that doesn’t get flagged with a wiggly line.

Or, as I call them, his fondlers.

Really, I think Trump (and his handlers/sycophants) subscribes to the “Everybody in the world wishes they could move to the United States and be American” philosophy. So when he floated “Canada as the 51st state” nonsense, he was surprised when Canadians outright rejected it. (Hell, in last April’s elections, current Prime Minister Mark Carney ran on a platform of “Never 51,” and he won.) Greenlanders, and their home country Denmark, rejected his “We should have Greenland” claims. He’s said, at times, that he wished the US had more immigration from northern European countries, and he’s surprised that nobody in northern European countries, has any interest in moving to the US. (Let’s see … free college and healthcare in northern Europe, vs. student debt in the tens of thousands and insurance companies that deny a claim if you have a pre-existing condition in the US. Yeah, that’s a no-brainer.)

So now that not all Iranians are cheering for him, and they’ve got a new Supreme Leader (“meet the new boss, same as the old boss” ring a bell?), he’s puzzled. “They can be just like us Americans, and they don’t want to be?”

He has to learn the lessons that Bush II learned when he invaded Iraq, and got involved in Afghanistan: Not everybody wants to be American, nor be governed by a document like the US Constitution. But most importantly, Mr. Trump, not everybody wants to be American!

Which is odd since that describes Trump himself.

Trump: “The US is the largest Oil Producer in the world, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money.”

If “we” is an oil company, that’s true. If we is somebody who puts gas in their car, we is getting screwed. Big surprise as to who Trump identifies with.

The old “Who do you mean by we Kemo Sabe?”

Might mean something, might mean nothing, but they’ve dropped the olive branches from the dime for the anniversary.

They are really showing who they are aren’t they?

Or the recipient of "campaign contributions”, “gifts”, or “other considerations” from them.

But also, it happens the major oil companies do business overseas and chaos is also not great for them as they can’t efficiently take advantage of unexpected price spikes nor effectively shield themselves if prices suddenly fall again if/when things settle down. They’ve all laid off large numbers of staff this last year from all the uncertainty and aren’t going to just hire those folks back without more stability.

Even weapons manufacturers are having issues because they can’t easily ramp up munitions productions for a war decided on a whim and one for which nobody has a definitive goal or end date in mind.

Basically, it’s screwing everybody, even ones who could have greatly profited had more competent (but still evil) people been in charge.
