Re Orban’s defeat. Has trump posted a truthie or reacted at all? Do you think maybe his handlers are keeping the news from him?

Pope Leo should invite Vance to a reconciliation meeting. Perhaps in some nice picturesque Italian town. Maybe, oh I dunno, Canossa?
Oh, they will, they’re still enthusiastically sucking his dick…..but lately some of them are starting to look like they think it tastes funny.
He’s really leaning into that “doctor” bullshit.

Which not even Antipope JD is willing to dignify by trying to defend it, incidentally.
“I think the president was posting a joke”
A man with no visible sense of humor posting a joke.
Yeah, JD, pull the other one. It’s got bells on it.
Can’t see unless I’m signed in, and since I have no account…

During his first term, that was a common defense that Trump’s press secretaries and other defenders had for him when he’d say or post something clearly ridiculous or incendiary: “He was clearly joking!”

You think they’ll bring out the big guns? You know, “Ni… Ni…”
If that doesn’t work, there’s always the Spanish Inquisition.
So long as they don’t bring out the comfy chair.

Tatterdemalion:
I strongly suspect that Trump has reached the point where, if they do ever get him on the stand, someone will move for a competency hearing, and he would fail it.
He already has, repeatedly. Those cognitive tests he brags about acing? They are used to track the progression of dementia. His ever-increasing disinhibition, struggles with basic motor function and diminishing vocabulary are also solid signs that what little of his brain is left is dribbling out his ear. See the “Trump is dying” thread if you want moment-by-moment tracking.
Sounds like he’s saying he personally posted it. All this time I thought it was his usual scapegoating routine where it was someone else who did it, without his viewing it or approving it.
Why is no one calling out his bullshit? (rhetorical question).
Dems in Congress should each take a daypart and record every dumbass, illegal, immoral, unconstitutional things he says. Create a compendium and publish it.

It might not be a bad thing for such an outcome to be widely observed.
Shouldn’t that be KsT ?

Get the paper towel shooter ready!
A super typhoon is taking aim at several remote U.S. islands in the Pacific Ocean, lashing Guam with heavy rain and tropical storm-force wind gusts hours before its arrival.
Super Typhoon Sinlaku is on track to barrel over the Northern Mariana Islands late Tuesday local time with widespread rain and flooding along with destructive winds that could cause lengthy power outages, the National Weather Service said.
Guam, a U.S. territory with several American military installations and about 170,000 residents, isn’t expected to take a direct hit but still could see damaging winds.
The tropical typhoon — the strongest on Earth so far this year — was producing sustained winds of 173 mph (278 kph) on Monday as it neared the islands of Rota, Tinian and Saipan, according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center.
The Pope multitasks, giving the felon a theology lesson and an English lesson at the same time.
Pope Leo XIV responded early Monday after President Donald Trump launched a shocking broadside against the papacy in a Truth Social post Sunday.
In his most public and intense criticism of Leo on Sunday, Trump attacked the spiritual head of the Catholic Church as “weak” and “terrible” because of his opposition to the Iran War. Leo told reporters Monday that the Vatican’s calls for peace are rooted in the Gospel, and that he does not fear the Trump administration’s retaliation.
“I will not enter into debate. The things that I say are certainly not meant as attacks on anyone. The message of the Gospel is very clear: ‘Blessed are the peacemakers,’” Leo said . “I will not shy away from announcing the message of the Gospel and inviting all people to look for ways of building bridges of peace and reconciliation, and looking for ways to avoid war any time that’s possible.”
The article also included this mighty fine piece of information. (The bolding is mine.)
Let’s see what next important religious date he manages to desecrate.
Junk to 1600 = a Benjamin
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump had two bags of McDonald’s delivered to the Oval Office on Monday by a DoorDash driver he tipped $100, using his favorite food and a reality TV flourish to promote a tax policy he says has meant big rebates for Americans who earn gratuities.
Sharon Simmons, dressed in a "DoorDash Grandma” T-shirt, walked up to the Oval Office’s exterior door and knocked as media cameras rolled. Trump popped out and said, “Hello. Nice to see you,” before proclaiming, “Look at this!” and then, glancing toward a pack of nearby reporters, offering, “This doesn’t look staged, does it?”
It was, of course. Making it onto the White House grounds alone requires obtaining prior permission and passing through security, while accessing the Oval Office — not to mention getting so close to the president — would have been impossible without additional screenings and background checks.
I should’ve titled that post Junk TV at 1600 = a Benjamin .
Yep, the felon and his flocks/flacks really do want the country to be led by Scudder.
Members of President Donald Trump ’s Religious Liberty Commission criticized notions of a necessary separation between church and state at the group’s final hearing in Washington, DC, on April 13.
Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, the commission’s chairman, at one point called it the “biggest lie that’s been told in America since our founding.”
The First Amendment says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,” but the term “separation of church and state” does not appear in the Constitution . President Thomas Jefferson popularized the phrase in the early 19th century.
Americans United for the Separation of Church and State called Patrick’s remarks “an attack on our democracy.”
Why on Earth would that woke traitor Jefferson have any idea of what the constitution really means?
He’s a veritable oracle, a prophet even.
Speaking by phone on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures, Trump was asked directly whether oil and gas prices would be lower before the November midterm elections. "I hope so. I mean, I think so. It could be, it could be. Or the same. Or maybe a little bit higher.
With foresight like that, how did he go bankrupt?
Yeah, right. It’s “cognitive decline”.
Donald Trump’s critics are pointing to one explanation for the president’s apparent mix-up of Jesus Christ and a Red Cross doctor: cognitive decline.
After the president, 79, was lambasted—including by some in his MAGA base—for sharing a now-deleted post depicting him as Jesus, he offered a puzzling explanation.
“It’s supposed to be me as a doctor making people better,” the president said of the AI-generated image on Monday afternoon.
The image, posted to Truth Social late Sunday night, portrays Trump as Christ, laying his hand on a patient in a hospital bed as if healing him. He is surrounded by other figures, including a nurse, a soldier, and a praying woman. Also visible are the U.S. flag, several bald eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and the Lincoln Memorial.
“I thought it was me as a doctor, and had to do with Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker there, which we support,” he said, adding, “Only the fake news could come up with that one.”
Many appeared unconvinced by his half-baked explanation, prompting renewed speculation about Trump’s cognitive health.
The White House did not respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment on the now-deleted post.
“The best-case interpretation of this is that the dementia is getting worse,” Hemant Mehta, a political commentator, shared with his over 100,000 X followers.
That’s one theory. What say we compare it to mine?
He’s a damned liar who really thinks he’s better than Jesus.
By the way, didn’t he once say he suffered more than the Big Guy?

Didn’t John Lennon get in trouble for saying that the Beatles were bigger than Jesus?
I’m not much of a Church Guy, but his little attempt to distract us from the Epstien Files by starting a Middle East War managed to get two Formula One races canceled! That’s as close to Blasphemy that I can imagine!

@Spoons Yes, he did; and it was ridiculous that he got in trouble for it. IIRC, he was making a commentary on American society at the time. And I think he was right. By no means was he saying that they were better or more moral than Jesus.
