The Trump Administration: The Clusterfuck Continues (Part 2)

Only between 11% and 13% overbilling? For a once in a lifetime opportunity? Amateurs. No wonder the Supreme Ineptstein is firing them all left and right. He must be very disappointed.

Actually, the greater sin is that it’s money not going into his pockets. Unless the firms in question are owned by him, in which case a mere 11-13% overbill would indeed be disappointing.

Other countries remember. I can’t see Canada, the UK, or Denmark clearing their memories. They might be polite about it, but they will never forgive or forget.

Hell, we in South Africa have a grudge against Trump for his callous attitude to HIV prevention charity aid, which is effectively his racism writ enormous.

Of course not. Eurasia didn’t forget either. The memory hole was for internal consumption of Oceania.

Orwell (via Goldstein) did say, or at least strongly imply, that the governments of the three superpowers were functionally identical. So it’s likely that Eurasia and Eastasia employed memory holes or the equivalent so that history could be constantly be brought up to date as needed.

Unfortunately for the powers that would be, some of us still have defective memories and recall events as they actually happened. For now.

The DOJ has submitted another “ripped from Truth Social” filing about the ballroom injunction following Saturday’s “assassination attempt” (which was actually handled efficiently by the safety measures in place). My favorite part is Trump, I mean the DOJ, whining about how security measures have had to be revealed because some bitch is complaining. You know, maybe if you had followed proper procedure in the first place, you wouldn’t need to spill the secrets to try to justify your safe space.

Maybe, just maybe, if every one didn’t want to kill you this would not be a problem.

{FLASH}

Calling the judge dangerous doesn’t strike me as the best way to have them rule in one’s favor.

The dodger-in-chief loses it (has he ever “had it”) while disrespecting fallen service members; Felon’s News Network normalizes it.

Dollars to donuts Rip van Simple asks someone why the Unknown Soldier is keeping his name from the public.

The felon’s State Department accidentally had the truth online.

Truman don’t stand a chance against Dewey! You’ll see!

This is really getting embarrassing. Well it was embarrassing in ver. 1 but he sounds like a slow 5th grader.

Randy Newman - “Political Science”

Asia’s crowded, Europe’s too old
Africa is far too hot and Canada’s too cold
And South America stole our name
Let’s drop the big one, there’ll be no one left to blame us.

We’ll save Australia
Don’t wanna hurt no kangaroo
We’ll build an all-American amusement park there
They got surfing too. :musical_notes:

It’s been embarrassing in exactly this way for years now. When was the last time Trump put out a “Holiday Message” that didn’t include gratuitous insults to Democrats, or someone else he hates? “Happy Thanksgiving!” and the like should be the easiest kind of messages to write, but he consistently turns them into diatribes against his usual targets.

Oh, I agree. We are going to Europe in August. We will stand out as Americans. I’m not ashammed of how I voted and who I support, but I am assamed of out country.

Thanks Trump.

Forgive me, spell check works, and then it doesn’t. I don’t know what is going on. I just lost all my short cuts in Chrome.

This is mostly a non-sequitur. They get it. And it’s not like they don’t have idjits of their own (looking at the UK, mostly, but certainly also large swaths of France, Italy, Germany, and pretty much every other country, given recent electoral successes of their respective right wings - Americans are not exceptional even in this regard). They get that not everybody is the same way. Just don’t be obnoxious

Problem is, the other right-wing parties do not get to govern the sole remaining superpower.

“Teen Takeover in Chicago” is my least favorite John Hughes movie.

Ok, thanks. But I’m still embarrassed.

He’s constantly trying to normalize calling up the national guard and declaring marshal law . . . this time over a “teen takeover”?
I’d love to eavesdrop on that call from the governor!

Nitpik: should be martial law…or marbe marital law… I always get those two mixed up.
