Not to mention the United States has not suffered any losses of land to that particular country. But, hey, there’s a high possibility he thinks they’re connected somehow with the Panama Canal.
Also, haven’t the deportation flights from the US to Venezuela been stopped by Venezuela refusing permission for them to land?
Well, Armada is fightin’ words. No matter how you look at it, it’s an act of war. Yet trump doesn’t want to capture any flags and potentially deal with the fallout of his actions. He’s got the oil. His only goal now is an unconditional surrender or a false flag operation to take the country before declaration papers hit the UN. Nobody declares was anymore.
Trump’s Chanukah message to American Jews; our planes are invisible but when the bomb chutes open it goes unstealth and then you can see it and I saw it happen and it went bing bing
And what is it, do you suppose, got the notorious antivaxer and health care charlatan to focus on this one particular disease? Could it, just perhaps, maybe be this?
The rest of the article covers more of his nonsense.
By the way, this is the very first I’ve hard of the Mexican Border Defense Medal. If I were President Sheinbaum, I’d be giving the US ambassador some severe grief over that until it’s rescinded.
Ditto. Turns out it was reactivated in August, the original being designed in 1918 to be given to troops who fruitlessly chased Pancho Villa around in his own country.
I wonder if you have to wear all the awards you are given.
Or maybe he’s trying to court Ross Douthat for a position at HHS?
(For the uninitiated: Douthat is a Trump-skeptical conservative commentator who wrote a whole book about his battle with Lyme disease, in which he credits alternative medicine for his recovery.)
Trump yet again making it clear that he thinks stealth planes are actually invisible, Romulan cloaking device invisible.
I imagine that sometime during his first term he was treated to a presentation by the air force wherein he got more and more agitated because he could see the planes. At which point a quick thinking officer ordered the planes to circle somewhere behind the viewing stand, out of sight but in earshot, while pointing to the empty air and describing the many amazing maneuvers the now invisible aircraft were doing.
There’ve been a few Truth Social posts lately-- this ‘Venezuela armada’ post here, the horrible Rob Reiner post, and others-- that are odd in that they perfectly mimic trump’s rhetorical style (long single paragraphs, random capitalized words, all-caps ‘shouting’ of certain sentences, the stupid “thank you for your attention to this matter” catchphrase, and of course the gallons of spilled bile), but are otherwise grammatically sound. No childish misspellings, no mangled syntax, well constructed compound sentences.
Supposedly from a guy who, speaking in public at a Christmas event just the other day, went on a 10 minute long rambling tangent about Peruvian snakes. Who is writing his TS posts for him these days, I wonder? Stephen Miller would probably be good at it, but I’m sure he has his hands full planning pogroms. Probably someone a little lower down on the totem pole.
Kimmel had a good take on it too. “He claims Peruvian snakes kill 28,000 people a year… I looked it up-- 10 deaths over the last 15 years”.
At a meeting in one post, the bleached blond that follows him around with the ‘glorifying’ twitter posts is shown typing up his comments. This was some time ago as the group was watching a Harris speech. Trump was throwing out the usual crap that his mind fixates on.
