Bullshitting is just intended to persuade without regard to the truth at all. The actual truth is irrelevant to a bullshitter and to their bullshit. Beside the point, as it were.
Trump is a massive bullshitter. The problem is threefold.
One, people are accustomed to presidents being extremely concerned about the truth, whether it’s truth or lies. Bullshit doesn’t fit in at all.
Two, he doesn’t/can’t quit, and when he does, nobody believes him anyway.
Three, he believes his own bullshit. Don’t know if that’s creeping dementia, sociopathy, both, or something else though.
