Dr.Drake:
In all seriousness, please re-think your compliance. We’re here because people aren’t willing to risk their jobs. Easy for me to say, I know, but what if everyone refused to comply?
Agree 100%. Is the Navy now going to sail in the Gulf of America? Should the State of New Mexico start changing all their letter head and signs.
That the military even acknowledges this insanity is, well, insane.
Just throw everything from Trump in the circular file.
It is almost certainly already referred to as such in their orders, which are probably signed as coming from their superiors at the Department of War and not the Department of Defense.
And I guarantee there are several companies that operate vessels in the Gulf that refer to it as such as well, at least when dealing with the federal government and often internally as well. At least publicly, Google and Apple and other companies are certainly onboard with the changes, or at least they comply publicly with them.
It’s worth noting that opposition to the insane naming nonsense is not uniform or universal. There are many people, not just civilians but also in the military, that are on board with it.
Oh no!

ISTR the industry name for that was “pink slime”, wasn’t it?
Woe is us!
Well, woe is us in any case…
Yeah, I thought so too.
DuckDuckGo’s version of AI search results told me:
I don’t eat it. Meat is supposed to look like it came from an animal, not a plastic extrusion factory.
Then do not eat hot dogs. I used to work for a hot dog company. Pink Slime perfectly describes the vats of ground up gristle that goes into those things. We used to joke that it was the Three T’s: Tips, Tongues and Touch Holes.

“Oops - typo. That A is right next to the S.”
I worked for a decade with a client based in Alabama. I used to joke that Alabama’s state motto is, “Hey! At Least We’re Not Mississippi!”
Edit:
Great minds think alike, I guess.

Personally I’m not going to be that upset just because the military is following orders about official paperwork using stupid modified nomenclature imposed by stupid executive orders from the stupidest ever administration.
Military noncompliance with orders from the civilian government which it serves is IMHO the nuclear option (potentially literally). It should be saved for important issues where the orders in question are actually unlawful and/or catastrophically insane.
Now, if military personnel feel like undertaking a bit of malicious compliance with the current crop of stupid but comparatively trivial orders, as in ”oh noes we can’t schedule the President’s honor guard until we’ve gone through all the copies of this report with the outdated terminology and changed all the ‘AI’ references to ‘SI’” , I’ve got no problem with that. Excellent conscientiousness and attention to detail, Colonel!

Another artist sues the felon for stealing music.
Rock legend Neil Young has slapped a Trump fundraising committee with a $10 million lawsuit over the use of his song, “Rockin’ in the Free World,” at an Ohio rally this month.
According to the five-page filing obtained by Rolling Stone , Trump was “personally aware that a license would be required” to play the song at an event, and he also knew Young “has not and would not grant the required license.” The unauthorized use happened despite a prior lawsuit and 2020 settlement in which Trump allegedly agreed never to use Young’s music without permission, the new complaint states. (Trump is not named as an individual defendant in the Monday complaint.)
The bigot-in-chief really didn’t think this one through.
Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed turned President Donald Trump ’s attacks on his Muslim identity back on the president during a Sunday rally, by highlighting Trump and his family’s willingness to engage in lucrative deals with Muslims.
Speaking in Grand Rapids, Michigan, El-Sayed hinted at hypocrisy by contrasting the president’s treatment of his name with Saudi investment in Jared Kushner’s private-equity firm and Qatar’s provision of a jet.
His comments came as he sought to consolidate support in a crucial Senate race against Republican Mike Rogers. Michigan is a closely divided battleground that Trump carried by 1.4 percentage points in the 2024 presidential election.
Trump has repeatedly called El-Sayed a “jihadist,” without producing evidence. The president has also referred to El-Sayed as “Muhammad” instead of Abdul, and claimed the Democrat is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. El-Sayed has denied ties to the Islamist group.
“I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn’t mind as much when it’s the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law’s private equity. Doesn’t seem to mind as much when it’s the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it’s my name,” El-Sayed said.
The felon just cost the government $$$.
A federal judge delivered a major legal defeat to the Trump administration Monday, ruling that the Justice Department illegally fired veteran federal prosecutor Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey, and ordering the government to provide her with backpay and retroactive reinstatement.
In a blistering 55-page ruling , U.S. District Judge Jesse Furman of the Southern District of New York rejected the administration’s extraordinary argument that the Constitution allowed it to fire Comey without cause, notice, or an opportunity to defend herself.
The judge warned that accepting the Justice Department’s position would threaten the constitutional balance of power and risk returning the federal government to a political spoils system that Congress began dismantling more than a century ago.
“Defendants’ argument that Article II bars Congress from regulating the removal of AUSAs flies in the face of nearly two centuries of Supreme Court precedent,” Furman wrote.
The ruling is particularly significant because Comey was fired in July 2025 without any explanation beyond a vague invocation of Article II of the Constitution.
Petulant One now wants Norwegians out of the US.
Donald Trump has said Norwegian immigrants are not welcome in the US because he did not win the Nobel Peace Prize .
Speaking at a rally in Michigan, he attacked the country, saying: “Frankly, Norway sucks. Norway has become a s—house country, actually.”
Mr Trump has been lobbying for the accolade for years, and previously heaped pressure on the Nobel committee, a five-person team appointed by Norway’s parliament, to recognise his peacemaking efforts.
The president said he would welcome immigrants from Denmark but not from Norway “because I didn’t get the Nobel Prize, so I don’t want anybody from Norway”.
Who wants to be millionaire, a dirty rotten conniving lying millionaire?
President Donald Trump has made another attempt to splash cash at voters ahead of the midterm elections, offering $1 million to anyone who reports cases of “voter fraud” if it leads to a conviction.
With eight days until Election Day, Trump made the announcement on Monday amid ongoing GOP panic about losing control of Congress at the Nov. 3 election.
“Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he wrote on Truth Social.
Doesn’t this itself constitute election interference? So if I report him for election interference, then take the money, aren’t I complicit in the election interference? It’s corruption adsurdum !
Now we know why the felon wants Canada as a state. He needs it to take the count up to 50.
While announcing major investments in energy infrastructure this week, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) seemed to make one key mistake—leaving out an entire state.
The DOE’s official account shared a graphic on X that appeared to show the entire United States, with the caption: “Yesterday, the Energy Department announced major investments toward Tribal communities energy infrastructure that will lower energy costs for Americans!”
But as the post gained more views online, people were quick to point out a fairly glaring mistake: Vermont was completely missing from the graphic .

For nearly three years, counselors through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for LGBTQ+ individuals answered more than 1.5m calls, texts and online chats – until the Trump administration terminated it in July 2025. But now, more than a year later, the service is back online.
The federal agency that oversees the lifeline, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (Samhsa), shuttered the specialized national lifeline service known as the “press 3” option for financial reasons last year, though critics cited political motivations. After pressure from activists, LGBTQ+ organizations and politicians, Congress approved legislation to allocate more than $33m to services for queer youth , including to the specialized lifeline. While suicide prevention and LGBTQ+ rights groups celebrate the reinstatement, details about the rollout and how the counselors will be trained remain shrouded in secrecy.
According to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the department “remains fully aligned with President Trump’s Executive Orders to defend women from gender ideology extremism and restore biological truth to the federal government”, a spokesperson said in a statement to the Guardian. But LGBTQ+ rights groups and allies question how the department’s directive will affect the service’s inclusivity. HHS did not respond to repeated requests for details about policy changes to the service.
It’s Tuesday. Must be time for another rape by the felon to come to light.
Former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul alleges that President Donald Trump raped her at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in November 1993, according to a new report released by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee examining Trump’s alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.
The report presents Keul’s account in detail for the first time and alleges that Trump, Epstein and others used the Donald J. Trump American Dream Pageant , a competition for young women ages 16 to 22, as a “‘hunting ground’ to prey on vulnerable young women and girls.”
The deportation discussion just got very interesting.
Representative Randy Fine, a Florida Republican, said anyone who lied on immigration paperwork to become a U.S. citizen should be denaturalized and deported after being asked whether that standard should apply to first lady Melania Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.
Fine made the remarks during a Monday night interview with NewsNation’s Nichole Berlie, who asked whether scrutiny of U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar’s citizenship should extend to high-profile immigrants with ties to the Trump administration.
“Anyone who was not honest in their immigration paperwork,” Fine said, adding that he did not know the circumstances of Melania Trump or Musk’s immigration proceedings and was unaware of any allegations against either of them.
“I believe anyone who lied on their paperwork to become a citizen should be denaturalized and should be deported,” he said.
Now the felon wants Orban to be secretary-general.
Donald Trump’s administration has floated a stunning political lifeline for Viktor Orban, urging the ousted far-right leader to consider becoming the next United Nations secretary-general.
The U.S. has encouraged the former Hungarian prime minister to enter the race to replace António Guterres, whose term ends on Dec. 31, and even introduced the idea to him, according to The Wall Street Journal.
One U.S. official described Orban as “the dream MAGA-conservative candidate,” while sources told the newspaper that the Hungarian leader was receptive to the proposal after losing power six months ago.

Why don’t artists who don’t want Diaper Don using their music pledge to donate money to the DNC or any of a number of progressive causes every time he plays them? Rockin’ in a Free World at a rally? Cut a $10,000 check to the Barack Obama Presidential Library. Born in the USA ? Here, BLM, take this $5,000 to the bank. They could announce that they’ll continue to contribute to ‘woke’ causes as long as he continues to play their music. Pretty soon, all MAGA will hear are Nicky Minaj, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent.
Wait a minute! Donnie went ahead and did an unauthorized thing after he had already “allegedly” agreed he wouldn’t?? Impossible!

“Let us not go to Mar-a-Lago. It is a silly place.”
Trump's affordability message: "You could even come to Mar-a-Lago. You'll be my guest. The problem is that for $5,000 the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that! No, don't go there....

Trump: “That’s what a lawyer tells you to answer when you’re guilty. Just say, ‘Not to my knowledge.’”
You know, I’m positive Trump has been advised to say this by a lawyer on numerous occasions over the decades for the various things he’s been accused of.
And also, Trump is the poster child for someone with so-called “diarrhea of the mouth.” He never has anything worthwhile to say, and he never, ever shuts up.

Corrupt presidential candidate gets visa from corrupt president.
WASHINGTON (AP) — A senior State Department official said Tuesday that Flávio Bolsonaro and his family will be granted U.S. visas after his weekend loss to incumbent Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in a hotly contested race that bucked a trend of conservative electoral results in Latin America.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to visa privacy laws, said “the State Department will issue visas to Flávio Bolsonaro and his family and allow them entry into the United States.”
Bolsonaro, who had President Donald Trump’s tacit support, had been under investigation for corruption, money laundering and tax evasion in Brazil and had been ordered to surrender his passport.
The State Department official did not say if Bolsonaro had already left Brazil or if he and his family were en route to the U.S.

The Sunshine Protection Act was passed by the House in July, but has since failed to clear the Senate. Trump isn’t happy about it.
Daylight saving time is set to end Sunday, Nov. 1, and President Donald Trump is making his protest heard, criticizing the Senate for not passing the Sunshine Protection Act that would end the twice-yearly clock changes.
“The United States Senate is letting the Daylight Saving Bill die, when a vast Majority of the Country want it,” Trump said Monday, Oct. 26, in a Truth Social post . “Most people are demanding light in the evening, but ALL want not to change their clocks anymore.”
“TAKE A VOTE!” he asserted, before quoting a report by the New York Post which said that the bill “remains locked in Senate” after being passed by the House of Representatives with a 301-117 vote in the summer.
The Sunshine Protection Act , introduced by Rep. Vern Buchanan , R-Florida, passed the House in July but has since failed to clear the Senate, the last step before it lands on Trump’s desk for final sign-off.

“Republicans in the Senate have to get moving on what I call the ‘No More Changing of Clocks Act,’ officially known as The Sunshine Protection Act, a ridiculous Clock changing process that takes place twice a year, costs our Country a fortune, is bad for Crime, stress on people, Sports, and just about everything else you can imagine,” Trump wrote in an Oct. 2 Truth Social post . “People don’t want to go around changing their Clocks anymore and, besides, far and away, most people like having an hour of extra sunlight in the evening, rather than in the morning.”

Federal prosecutors were rebuffed in their effort to secure an indictment against former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson over her testimony related to the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol, according to four sources briefed on the grand jury proceedings.
The Justice Department has not yet responded to a request for comment.
The Washington Post first reported that the grand jury declined to indict Hutchinson.
The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division has been handling the Hutchinson investigation, CBS News previously reported, and during a hearing on another matter Tuesday, a litigator with the division, Neville Hedley, told U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui that the grand jury had not concurred on the proposed indictment. Hedley did not say who the defendant was, but multiple sources confirmed it was Hutchinson.
Hutchinson, who was a top aide to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, angered President Trump’s allies and his base when she testified in 2022 before the House select committee investigating the 2021 Capitol attack.
In depositions and congressional testimony, Hutchinson said that Mr. Trump and Meadows were warned on Jan. 6 that some of his supporters were carrying weapons to the Capitol, but Mr. Trump said he didn’t care — and he tried to order officials to remove the magnetometers at the rally where he spoke that morning.
Krazy Killer Kennedy (The bolding is mine.)
To a degree without modern precedent, White House Cabinet secretaries have spent recent months on the campaign trail, serving as pieces on an electoral chessboard to be moved around to the benefit of the Republican Party — despite ethics laws that are supposed to keep some distance between these powerful officials and partisan political activities.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. isn’t the only offender in the Trump administration, although he has arguably been the most ambitious, making all kinds of appearances with vulnerable GOP incumbents and even trying to orchestrate partisan strategies to give Republican lawmakers a boost.
To that end, Kennedy appeared at a partisan campaign event in Michigan on Monday, against a backdrop of several key contests up and down the ballot, most notably a highly competitive U.S. Senate race that may very well determine which party controls the chamber in the next Congress.
That Kennedy was critical of the Democratic nominee, Abdul El-Sayed, wasn’t too surprising, since this was one of the principal reasons the event was organized. What was notable, however, was how Kennedy targeted the Senate hopeful.
After briefly claiming to have some expertise about the Muslim Brotherhood — the conspiratorial secretary is an environmental lawyer by trade and has no meaningful background in studying transnational religious organizations — Kennedy shared his perspective on “Arab Muslims.”
“There’s 500 million Arabs in the world,” he declared. “And yet they don’t produce science. They don’t win the Nobel Prize. They don’t win the Fields Prize. They don’t win the Wolf Prize. They don’t produce literature.”
SECWARCRIM acolyte is, you prophesied it, racist, homophobic, and misogynistic.
A Pentagon official credited with shaping Pete Hegseth’s religious agenda has been exposed as a conspiracy theorist who regularly shares racist and homophobic posts online.
Ryan Higgins, a senior adviser to the defense secretary, is part of the team helping Hegseth bring Christianity more prominently into military life.
But a damning CNN investigation published Tuesday has exposed that Higgins has an unsavory history that includes social media attacks on immigrants, gay couples and women.
Several sources told CNN that the adviser had helped shape the Pentagon chief’s religious messaging and played an important role in developing the new Office of Religious Affairs.
Higgins has rejected the idea of separation between church and state, while Hegseth has argued that military readiness requires spiritual strength.
His social media footprint is also riddled with bigotry.
