Trump, you are an absolute piece of shit.
The National Links Trust, which operates three municipal golf courses in Washington, D.C., was served a notice of default by the Trump administration, according to a story by the Washington Post.
The report states "the default notice, dated Oct. 29, did not specify reasons the group was in default or how it could remedy any concerns. …
The Post report also says:
The default notice also lands amid unexplained activity at East Potomac, where in recent weeks trucks have deposited soil from the White House’s East Wing renovation onto the property. Neither the White House nor the National Park Service has explained the purpose of the work, and neither responded to requests for comment Friday night.
I’m guessing that Trump has plans to open a golf course in DC area and wants to kill the competition, or else he’s going to use the default to make a hostile take over.
That would be my guess.
What does a notice of default mean?
It means that the National Links Trust defaulted on their responsibilities under their agreement for stewardship of the golf courses. Per the article, the document did not specify how they were in default.
Please don’t insult shit like that.
Thanks @Johnny_L.A I figured it was default on a debt. But I suppose it could be anything that Trump pulls out of his ass. I’m sure it is.
Another brilliant move by his orangeness’. The majority in DC are democrats. They won’t play golf on a Trump course anymore than the will go to the Trump/Kennedy center.
The national guard never made it to Chicago, or cleaned up any crime.
Just over a week ago the Supremes somehow inadvertently made the right call, and disallowed it.
(ICE, however, is a different story. Fuck all of them.)
There’s enough counterfactual spin in that pile of drivel to power six AI data centers for a decade.
The telling question is: Does his nibs really believe all that drivel he’s pulling out of his ass, or does he really believe he’s the greatest [you name it] of all time?
In the end it doesn’t matter. What matters is the damage he’s done, and continues to do, to the republic and human lives.
Typical Trump reaction when he doesn’t get his way - he pretends he accomplished everything he set out to do and this was how he wanted it to go all along. Same as how he was suddenly in favor of releasing the Epstein files as soon as there were enough votes to override a veto.
He does believe he’s the greatest everything of all time. That’s why he’s so fond of North Korea’s dictatorship. They share a belief. Because he believes that, anything either he or anyone else says that’s serves to support his idea is, in his pathetic mind, automatically true because it serves the higher truth, that he’s the best.
At least they didn’t leave the naming of the thing to Rip van Simple. Otherwise it would have been First Annual Excellence Award for Excellence in the Field of Excellence.
The felon’s no longer touting “two weeks”. He’s up to two months now.
Rip van Simple really doesn’t understand government.
The rest of the article is a fun read, highlighting all the errors in Rip van Simple’s screed.
This is the most blatant grift the convicted felon has ever grifted. And, sadly, it’s going to work.
Hang on a moment. My logic textbook just bolted for the door. Okay, I’m back now.
Chicago has an annual naming contest for snowplow. You’ll love the name the Mayor Johnson supports.
Federal judge stops the Second Felonial Era from terminating TPS.
And that exactly what Rip van Simple and his flock of felons are trying to do: take non-white immigrants who, in fact, are not breaking the law, and just declare them to be criminals so they can be kicked out of the country.
For a lifeong conman, Rip van Simple is incredibly bad at running cons, isn’t he?
He’s a narcissist, so yes he does think he’s the best at everything. From his narcissistic point of view, him being smarter and better than everyone else is axiomatic, an unquestionable fact of life; other people are by definition inferior to him, because they are not him.
Honestly, I think prior to 2018 or so he was a conman who knew he was running a con. But after the 2016 election where he suckered convinced enough to swallow his bullshit he’s fallen victim to his own hype.
The arch is never going to be built. Neither is the ballroom or the ten “freedom cities” or the “National Sculpture Garden of American Heroes” or the 25 Trump-class battleships. There’s probably not going to be a “Great American State Fair” this summer with a Hunger Games and a UFC match on the Whote House lawn. We’re definitely not getting “tariff rebates” or monthly subsidies to buy healthcare without needing insurance.
At this point I feel pretty confident that the reprobates in the government are all just humoring Trump’s unhinged fantasies because they expect him to die before they’ll actually have to produce any of these things, and this allows them to carry on with the political equivalent of stripping as much copper wire out of the building as they can before JD takes over and fires them all.
Even if the Orange Peril manages to evade the Grim Reaper (or disgust him so much that he refuses to contaminate his scythe), the reprobates probably have an arsenal of shiny things in storage to keep him distracted. I can see them constantly redesigning the arch, for example, because the “current” design doesn’t adequately reflect Dear Leader’s awesomeness.
I don’t recall the renderings being gilded.
