Tearing things down is easy. Organizing and building things up is hard.
Cheney was a dick too. Some say he had more influence than the president.

For some weird reason Trump has had the DOJ massively cut back on white collar crime investigations and outright stop any on foreign corruption/bribery/influence.

But Truth Social’s AI says Trump is the least-corrupt President ever !!!1!!!
Welcome to a special AI edition of the MAGA Minute!
Trump recently released an AI tool on his Truth Social network.
How is it?
You decide.
This is a sample of its response to whether Trump is corrupt. Essentially, “No, now let us talk about...
For a few days there had been reports that Truth Social’s new AI was actually, er, telling the truth on some political questions. Guess they fixed it.
In other words, “Declare victory and go home.”
Of course they did. It’s got “white” right there in the name!
Every time the regime screams about an immigrant committing a crime, it feels like they are implying that it would not have been so bad if a white American had done it. Like, this mother would have felt so much better if only her daughter had just been killed by a white American. But, no, it was a dirty immigrant. Deport them all!
…that is WAY more than I ever needed or wanted to know about LBJ’s junk…
He was a brilliant politician, but he was also exceptionally crass.
At 6-ft., 3-in. tall and 210 lbs., he liked to lean over people, spitting, swearing, belching, or laughing in their faces. Once, he even relieved himself on a Secret Serviceman who was shielding him from public view. When the man looked horrified, Johnson simply said, “That’s all right, son. It’s my prerogative.” His favorite power ploy, however, seemed to be dragging people into the bathroom with him—forcing them to continue their conversations with the president as he used the toilet.
Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services has reportedly frozen all federal childcare payments to all 50 states as a result of this made-up scandal in Minnesota.

To defend LBJ, as someone who wore Haggar slacks in the 70s, they really were kind of restrictive with regard to the ballroom.
Is that what Trump thinks building a big ballroom will accomplish?
If so, he is even more confused than I had thought before, and that was pretty confused.

In the mean time.
We’ve been in the mean time since January 20, 2025.
Rip van Simple knows better than real doctors.
WASHINGTON, Jan 1 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that he is taking a larger daily dose of aspirin than his doctors recommend.
“They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart,” Trump told the paper in an interview published on Thursday. “I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”
People overdose from taking too much aspirin, right? And how much more than the doctors’ recommend does he take?
Daily use of aspirin can lower the chances of heart attack or stroke for people over the age of 60, according to the Mayo Clinic, which says a low dose of aspirin is most commonly 81 milligrams.
The president’s doctor, Sean Barbabella, told the Journal that Trump takes 325 milligrams of aspirin daily for cardiac prevention.
I’m not a doctor, but I am curious if taking such a high dosage can cause the bruising on his hands.
Rip van Simple’s changing the narrative on his medical treatment.
For weeks, President Donald Trump has said that he received an MRI at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in October , but when asked about the procedure by the Wall Street Journal in an interview published Thursday, Trump and his doctor said that he actually got a CT scan instead.
“It wasn’t an MRI,” Trump told the Journal. “It was less than that. It was a scan.”
Last month, Trump maintained that he got an MRI, telling reporters on Air Force One that he would “absolutely” release the results.
The White House has not specifically said why Trump received the scan. In November, Trump claimed the MRI was part of his yearly physical.
California re-issues CDLs to migrant drivers.
California has delayed its cancellation of thousands of commercial driver’s licenses held by migrants, setting it up for another showdown with Washington.
The Department of Motor Vehicles announced on Tuesday that the 17,000 migrant truck drivers whose licenses had been revoked can now keep them for 60 more days, which could enable the drivers to retake tests and do whatever is necessary to remain legal.
“Commercial drivers are an important part of our economy — our supply chains don’t move, and our communities don’t stay connected without them,” said DMV Director Steve Gordon in a statement after the extension.
And now the felon’s DHS says Real ID is worthless.
Only the government could spend 20 years creating a national ID that no one wanted and that apparently doesn’t even work as a national ID.
But that’s what the federal government has accomplished with the REAL ID, which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) now considers unreliable, even though getting one requires providing proof of citizenship or lawful status in the country.
In a December 11 court filing , Philip Lavoie, the acting assistant special agent in charge of DHS’ Mobile, Alabama, office, stated that, “REAL ID can be unreliable to confirm U.S. citizenship.”
And, of course, the felon’s grift phone is delayed.
Trump Mobile, the wireless venture backed by the Trump Organization, has postponed delivery of its long-promised gold-colored T1 smartphone beyond the end of the year, blaming the latest U.S. government shutdown for the delay. The move extends a months-long slide in its launch timeline and underscores the operational challenges of turning a political brand into a mass-market hardware business.
Customer service representatives for Trump Mobile told Fortune the shutdown had disrupted shipments of the $499 device, and said while the device would not be shipped this month, “we’ve been told mid to late January.” The company has not publicly provided a revised delivery date.
”The T1 has been delayed due to the government shutdown. They had to pause everything on the FCC side of things,” the customer service rep said, adding the $499 price has not changed.
Yeah, right. The government shutdown is to blame. Yank the other finger.
Cruella de Vile taken to task by judge.
A federal judge in California on Wednesday voided the Trump administration’s move to terminate the Temporary Protected Status of roughly 60,000 immigrants from Honduras, Nepal and Nicaragua, calling it a “pre-ordained decision.”
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the termination of the TPS programs for Honduras, Nepal and Nicaragua in June and July, saying the three countries had recovered from the environmental disasters that prompted the U.S. government to grant their nationals temporary legal refuge.
Created by Congress in 1990, the TPS policy allows the U.S. government to give certain foreigners deportation protections and work permits, temporarily, if their native countries are facing armed conflict, an environmental disaster or another emergency that makes their return unsafe.
In late July, U.S. District Court Judge Trina Thompson delayed the termination of the TPS programs for Honduras, Nepal and Nicaragua, issuing a preliminary finding that the Trump administration failed to consider lingering problems in three nations and that the decision to terminate the policies was motivated by racial animus, or racial hostility. That ruling was paused in August by an appeals court, allowing the Trump administration to end the programs.
But Thompson issued a summary judgment on Wednesday, finding that the effort to revoke the legal status of tens of thousands of Hondurans, Nepalis and Nicaraguans was unlawful. She said Noem’s move “was preordained and pretextual rather than based on an objective review of the country conditions as required by the TPS statute and the (Administrative Procedures Act).”
She broke the law? What a shocker!
I’m not a doctor either but yes, even at low doses, Aspirin can cause bruising.
To be somewhat fair, Americans, in general, are dumb. “More is better” might as well be our motto. That the paragon of American stupidity would choose to risk his own health by ignoring medical advice is unfortunately all too representative of who we are as a people.
