Yeah, if by “spoiler” you mean “painfully obvious fact”
22 hours here - I’ve got tickets to the 9:00 PM (EST) showing. Yippy skippy!
On my way out the door!
Damn… 22 hours to go for me. I’m jealous as Hell, Arden Ranger!
GGGGAAAAAAFFFFFGGGGGGHHHH!!!
Excuse me, Mid-Term stress. I have to wait to see it. It’s killing me
so I came back from the movie, it was awesome, esp those trees!
My ticket is for the 2:45 pm show.
Can someone who has seen the movie give me a good idea when (at about 2 hours in) it is a good time to do the rest room 3 minute sprint? Any visual cues where I know I can miss something not too “OH” or “AH” for a brief period.
In FOTR I left the first time at the Amun Sul scene. Damn! Best part of the movie.
I learned later to get up at the bridge-smoochies scene. No explosions or nifty special effects missing.
Anything similar in TT?
Middlea:
Probably when Aragorn washes up on shore. There’s just more smooching going on, and Arwen talking about death. They’ll have about two other nearly identical scenes, so you’ll be all caught up. And if you’re late, all you’ll miss is Legolas telling Aragorn, “You’re late.”
I’d also like to mention that I’m both frightened by, and attracted to, Liv Tyler’s prehensile lips.
Legolas totally rules.
I’m going again this afternoon. Taking my son after he gets home from school.
Less than twelve hours to go! Woot!
9 hours 35 minutes 14 seconds… ARGH!
5… hours …
::twitch::
Eleven and a half hours and a full work day to go! AGH!
4 hours and 50 minutes–kind of a last minute choice but I am excited.
T minus negative six and a half hours. I work in a technology firm with a bunch of geeks. Even the vice president of the department was there.
It was AWESOME. Not flawless (see the review thread), but absolutely worth it.
Whew. I finally saw it last night. I got home at 4 am, went to bed, went to work, and now I can finally talk about it. Loved it. Am considering starting a countdown thread to viewing #2.
…will… not… read… Munch’s… spolier…
nnnngh.
7.9 hours.
Then cross your legs like I did.
Whew. I made it through the whole movie, but beat cheeks for the RR the minute the credits rolled.
Damn holiday lunch!
Just to let you know, flapcats, it’s a very minor spoiler of a scene that’s not in the book that is “trip to the bathroom” worthy.
I haven’t seen it yet, but a co-worker went to the midnight premiere.
And Sir Ian McKellan showed up!
