Take a look at her post #37 over there. She’s all backed into a corner and she freaks out and tries to make it look like it’s everyone else’s fault for derailing the thread. She quotes the OP* and begs everyone to get back on topic, which IMHO isn’t a terrible way to fix something that’s been derailed. I’ve done it in my own threads as well as in threads that I’ve accidentally taken off course. What’s funny though is that at the end of the post it turns out she has no interest in getting back to the OP, she’s just trying to reset the discussion to get everyone on her side. She was losing the argument when it was proven that it actually was legal to shoot certain dogs in certain circumstances. So let’s just get back to talking about it being wrong and unnecessary. She reminds me of another poster.

I find myself curious about this person. Everything I have read makes me wonder about her sanity, yet there is just enough knowledge about some subjects to make me wonder. Is she self-educated? Or tried to get an education but couldn’t finish? “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing”.

It’s rare when I see a poster and can automatically assume everything they say is incorrect, but that’s generally what happens when I see her name in a post.
Man, what a stupid argument. “You don’t need to teach history in school because you can just read a book from the library and listen to grampa’s war stories” - right, because the anecdotes that gramps tells you are totally accurate and not bias at all! Can you imagine the skewed version of history she passes on to her own kids? Also, what in the hell is wrong with kids learning about WWII or Vietnam in American History class? Isn’t that pretty much the kind of thing you talk about in a class like that?

up until this thread, I never heard of her. Her username rang no bells, and yet, there seems to be so much out there that would catch my attention if I read it.
Clearly, I’m not paying attention to threads that I read.
There is another thing to consider. She’s been here for about 9 years and has less than 3000 posts. So, she’s not what I’d consider a “noise” poster. But she does seem to post very memorable quotes. Could it be that she truly is just “whooshing” everyone on the board? I think it’s an idea worth consideration. If you want to waste time considering it, that is.
There is that - I can see Susanann as somebodies comedy act. There are a couple of other posters on this board who take positions so comedic I wonder if they’re putting us on as well.
I sometimes wonder this as well, as I wonder what she could be getting out of this message board. She has very different viewpoints from most posters here (to put it lightly); she likes to make outrageous posts but can’t be bothered to back them up or return to defend them, even with the sketchiest of cites, like most of those drive-by lunatics we get. She doesn’t really grab onto a topic and cling to it like a rabid terrier; she seems to forget and wander off from topics she’s shown great interest in for a few posts, never to return.
I’d see her as a happy member of some conspiracy theory website or Second Amendment fanclub, sure, but I just don’t know what she sees in us.
I don’t know, but there seem to be plenty of examples of other people (at least I assume they are people) who are here only to post outrage over one thing or another they’ve read here, or to remind everyone just how substandard they believe the board membership to be. I guess some folks can find a certain satisfaction in that. I tend to think she’s legit, just somewhat addled.
