Back to normal today. Y’all better hurry, cuz I see the surgeon on 3 Jan. Rosie, you’re gonna be singing a whole lotta Soft Kitty real soon…
News flash: FDiL just passed her Indiana certification exam, and is now officially an EMT- Basic. w00t! and welcome to the club.
Dude, think about this.
All that money, and we can fix you up for a couple of cases of beer.
Cool!
Any tips on taking out Vunderbob’s appendix?
The UPS guy dropped off a big carton of new donwannas and the packing slip says givadammers have been discontinued.
Unfortunately, my employer has also sent me some youreincharge and gottadoits. Anyone got some Calgon?
That is the pink one right?
Jim
I meant gall bladder. One little mistake!
Just so y’all know
I took the Veterinary Assistant class over at the community college, I even have the certificates to prove it. I assisted in a few surgeries.
You’ll need some soft rope to tie his arms and legs down, you don’t want him moving around while you’re cutting, and if he starts wagging his tail he needs something stronger to knock him out.
Welcome to the Mumper Medical Mob, Sari, I would start drinking now
Jim
Tail?
Vunderbob has a tail?
Yay! The boss brought in donuts.
I’m going to back away quick from all this surgery talk. Nope. Not getting involved.
Most everyone at the office bailed around noon. I was a dedicated professional, plus it took me till quitting time to finish what I was doing. But now I’m home, so yay!
I’ve got a list started for stuff to remember. Shortly, I’ll throw together some mac-n-cheese for supper, then do some squid sewing afterwards. Tomorrow will be much laundry and packing. Gotta remember to leave a note for the critter sitter…
Too much to think about. TGIF!!!
Forgive me, but if you have a list, you don’t have to remember it.
Howdy Y’all! At da cave finally! Needed to do a few things whilst in town, so I did. I already told OYKW tonight is a forage for food night. I’s stuffded after a biiiiiiig brekkie this mornin’ and a throw out the goodies and lets munch down N.O.L. No dindin for da bear tonight. Brekkie was incredible! Pancakes, bacon, scrambled aigs, cheese grits, bizkits and sausage gravy. Sausage gravy on a bizkit looks sump’n like the dawg threw up on a bizkit, but it sure does taste good! Oh and all the cheese thangs I made got et up so yay for that.
flytrap I thought you had a good idea about takin’ out Vunderboob’s <snerk> appendix. See, that would be good practice since it’s a pretty useless body part anyways. If he didn’t croak from that, then Jim and you could move on to the gall bladder. Plus now y’all have sari as a [del]veterinary[/del] surgical assistant so maybe y’all will have a chance to poke around and see if anything else needs removin’ whilst you’re in there.
BBBobbio yay for FDIL!
MOOOOOOM you mean Higgs is not goin’ to see her grandparents?
Haven’t read. Good thoughts appreciated, we were out to a movie and lunch and my grandpa passed out at the restaurant. We’re at a satellite ER and they’re going to take him to the main hospital and keep him overnight for observation.
Swampy would probably think I have a very nice one.
We can remove that, too for a small additional fee.
I’m practicing with my “Operation” game.
CITE! Oh like you didn’t think I would.
Glad to know you see value in continuing education.
{{{StickBuns}}} prayers and good thoughts headed out for your grandpa.
**swampy **- Higgs is going, but the cats and the fish aren’t.
I’ve quit squidding - I got the tentacles sewed to the body and I got the fins sewed to the head. The head is ready to be pinned and sewed to the body, but I’m tired and I don’t want to screw it up, so I’ll finish it tomorrow. Tonight, I’ll knit.

MOOOOOOM I can understand the cats not goin’ cause cats don’t do travel, but I’m sure the fish in the bazillion gallon tank wouldn’t mind a few days in Florida. After all, they so rarely get out these days!
