I wonder if that is why the killed T-Dog.
Hrm. You think perhaps they’re planning to reintegrate Merle back into the main group and they needed T-Dog out of the way to avoid tension between him and Merle from when he dropped the handcuff key when escaping the roof?
There are only 70-odd people in the town, right? There had to be at least 10 men in the raid on the military. No way are that many men going to keep everything secret.
Bender: Phillip?!
A show based on a comic is too comic bookish to you? :dubious:
Weapons always seem to work better in fiction than in real life. Hell, just the ease most of these untrained rag tag survivors seem to have with getting off headshots approximately 90% of the time is pretty astounding. Even Rick shouldn’t be that good. Unless I’m mistaken cops are trained to shoot for center mass, not heads.
Judging from that limp wrist grip he uses, I’m not sure much of the police training sank in.
That’s silly. Aiming is the skill learned, aiming for center of mass is a tactic. However, your 90% headshot estimate seems about right and I agree that it’s “astounding” for a bunch of untrained goofballs.
From moving cars, over rough ground, in the dark, no less, back when the herd overran the Farm.
T-Dog 2.0?
T-Dog Rev. B?
T-Dog Service Pack 2?
U-Dog.
Who Dog?
I still like RBG, Replacement Black Guy.
so - someone spoil for me what the guvner’s evil plan is - I get that he’s bad (killing the gaurd survivors) and is clearly a controller and has a serious hold over the townspeople - but I don’t get what the ‘plan’ is.
I do not care if the spoiler is from the comics (and therefore might not apply) or if its speculation or if I missed something else more obvious -
Does he need any other “evil plan” than having his own little kingdom?
Did he say he was planning to “take back civilization”? Would that mean trying to build his own army? Given that there are only 70-some people there, this would be a very long term plan, I would guess.
I assume he wants to get the town’s infrastructure working again. Obviously you’d need a bit of an army to keep it secure.
Breeder females of the species, would be my guess.
I finally got around to watching this week’s ep. So we’re rid of wifey, and thank Og for that. Also token black guy, who somehow managed to not get killed right off in season one, as so often happens to our brothers. As I saw mentioned above, we have RBG now, so the color balance is maintained, but the wimmins are getting sort of scarce. And we still have to put up with that annoying kid. I was really hoping the baby would come out of the womb and bite his ass. An entertaining ep with lots of action, and Rick’s attempt to win an Emmy in the last scene.
I’m guessing his plan involves learning how to control the zombies and, therefore, having a zombie army to control the rest of humanity.
A method of rendering human fat for those cool looking torches in front of his office.
Did the previews show:
the governor and his flock doing a Jonestown suicide kool-aid thing?
