Absolutely. Well, they’ll get it in time for Glenn, a healthy young guy. I don’t know if they’ll get it in time for Herschel.
The more I read about it and think about the two people being dragged out bleeding and set on fire, the more I realize that I don’t know what the fuck they are trying to accomplish with that twist.
to implicate Carol, to find out she’s trying to protect the lil’ blond crazy girl, so that Carol has to put her down after she turns.
Carol doing it makes no dramatic sense in the story - its way to obvious - the little girl doing it is a mirror to Carl’s dad being ‘right’ about not teaching the kids to kill. Which is what Herschel was attempting to back up in the garden (you don’t ‘have’ to kill these two).
There’s no way that tyrese survived that mob without atleast one bite.
and how do they get a nice little pile of zombies to back up over like htat? would have thought daryl was smarter than that - and you always take TWO vehicles on a run - never one - its similar to never going out alone (stupid Carol) - you have to have a backup.
This season is ‘better’ than the last one - but we’re back to the crew ‘looking smarter’ while being ‘stupid’ in the process - ‘quarantine area’ == good decision - only two doctors (one well, one sick) - you don’t send the one that is ‘not sick’ in to give people tea - you create a safe zone to pass the shit back and forth.
But there’s no way a young girl could drag not one but two adults around. Are we supposed to just ignore that, like we have to ignore antibiotics for a virus?
I don’t understand why there’s a question about whether Carol did this. Of course she killed the two people and burned their bodies to try to kill the virus.
Why would she have the dramatic reaction after talking with Tyrese otherwise? Clearly she was upset - so much so that she knocked over the water barrel (a resource so valuable that she put herself at risk to de-muck the hose).
The whole change in characterization for Carol since the beginning of this season has led up to her doing something like this.
Rick’s discussion with Tyrese about someone doing this to protect everyone also makes sense especially if it’s Carol.
Yeah, because he was able to summon his Black Negro Rage Power to fight all those zombies! I half expected him to be yelling “FUCK YOU!! YOU JIVE MOTHERFUCKIN’ DEAD SONS OF BITCHES!”
I’ve been referring to Carol as Beth. I suck at names on this show. They’ve shown Carol becoming hardened, so I’m not surprised she killed the two and burned them.
I know we’re supposed to suspend our disbelief, but I didn’t like moss walker or the herd. There’s no way moss walker is decomposing into the ground and yet can still see and hear humans. The herd was just too big. Most of them should be decomposing moss walkers by now.
Hershel wanted to get coughed on. Idiot.
Who’s the blond girl holding the baby and going on about having a job to do? I wouldn’t be completely surprised if she was the killer. She seems a little nuts.
It’s like the writers are sort of trying to tell a story but the special effects nerds are having a weekly contest like Face Off to see who can make the coolest effects. Unlike Face Off, there are no judges telling them that what they’re doing makes no sense, even in sci fi land.
The giant mob bothered me at first. At the beginning of the show it made sense to have mobs walking by from time to time, but now ‘entropy’ should have taken over and they should have dispersed. Smaller ones, here and there following something, sure. Even a few dozen. But that looked like thousands.
But then I figured (read: fanwanked) that maybe that was supposed to have been a large group of survivors that had just been overrun by ‘the virus’ was now a large group of zombies.
I’m torn about who killed Karen and David. At first I suspected Hershel because he’s a vet so euthanizing a sick animal for the benefit of the herd would be something he might think of and those two could have been sick enough that he figured they weren’t getting better. I was also going by previews that showed him talking with Maggie about doing what needs to be done but now I see that was his speech about helping the sick people. I also figured that Hershel was too indispensable to the group for anyone to allow Tyreese to have his revenge.
From the very beginning of this episode it’s been telegraphed that it was Carol. Her facial expressions during the talk in the courtyard with Tyreese, Rick and Daryl. Her reluctance to talk with Tyreese and her reaction after talking to Tyreese all pointed to her guilt. Also her recklessly going outside the fence to possibly assuage her guilt by helping others. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if it is Little Messed Up Girl and Carol is covering for her but I think the writers really did try to show us that Carol feels guilty and therefore most likely is guilty.
Nah, to rip off Warm Bodies it would have to be just the power of love that turns him around. Right after he eats Herschel. But that’s okay, Maggie will understand.
If it’s medicine fixing zombieism, then it’s a ripoff of that show that was on BBCA a few months back… damn can’t remember the name… there were only like 3 episodes, but it was all about rehabilitating zombies back into their lives after a “cure” was found (cure for going around eating people, not a cure for actually being undead).
While it likely is a virus - we don’t know that. With practically everyone sick, dosing them with antibiotics isn’t going to hurt anything, and if it is something bacterial, it’ll help.
That’s Beth, Hershel’s other daughter/Maggie’s sister. She’s the one who was suicidal at the farmhouse, and then Andrea essentially told her hey, if you wanna off yourself, go nuts, which drew the wrath of Maggie.
We’ve seen two of her boyfriends ripped to pieces by zombies on camera, which I think is the record for speaking-role significant others being eaten on the show.
