The voice was the guy from the pair that just jacked his bike and crossbow.
Well, those two are dead no matter what, just so Daryl can recover his crossbow. His crossbow is a permanent part of his character by now.
How do you know that was Glenn? It just sounded like “some male voice”.
Male voice on a crackly radio saying the word “Help”. Could be anyone.
Personally I don’t think it’s Glenn, but there’s no way to tell at this point.
ETA: I am, however, 100% sure that Glenn is alive.
not dead, they are gonna be rescued by Daryl and taken home.
Using what? That was Glenn’s voice. Besides that, I don’t think Darryl’s going to give those two a second chance.
There was an interview with the dude who plays Daryl. He said explicitly that it is not Glenn. I guess he could be lying for dramatic effect, though.
I only watched the first half Talking Dead, so maybe that was later. But… I don’t think that guy has any more knowledge than any of us at this point. He was acting pretty whacky, anyway.
As for the show, this was a bit better than the last 2. Still lots of roll-eyes situations. The writers sure are milking this Herd the Walkers plot of everything they can. Maybe the mid season finale will have them resuming Glenn but killing Maggie in the process.
That’s what it sounded like to me, just some random voice. I didn’t really think it was Glenn’s, I figured it was either the guy who had stolen the bike or it was someone totally new.
What’s up with Sasha’s problem with killing the walkers? I can see not going after them if there might be a huge amount of them, but killing the stragglers is a good thing to do in my book, least they see you and start making noise and bring more.
Those cigars would have been shit, even if they were not out in the weather, they need humidity to keep from drying out, otherwise they crumble.
Motorcycles don’t like to be on their sides, a lot of the fluids can spill out or get in to other parts of the engine that it shouldn’t be. I know Daryl wasn’t able to stand it up, but it might not be in the best shape anymore.
I can’t believe those two jumped Daryl again, he helped them out and kept them alive. He had a couple of chances to kill them, they are not long for this world if they are going to keep turning their backs on people.
She explained this herself, there is no reason to make it obvious they had been there. The people with machine guns are a lot more dangerous than a lone walker.
I was pretty much in agreement with her on that, but wasn’t Abraham going to go after them with a knife? Still, best to lay low and not attack attention from either the Walkers ore the Raiders.
I figured either she or Abraham would get killed in this episode based on her ‘don’t kill walkers’ motto. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep* in a room with just a sheet of glass between me and an walker like that. If she really didn’t want to kill it, she could have at least gone into the next room and put a steel door between them, just in case.
*Did anyone else think the editing was off in that scene? At least to me, the time between her saying she was going to take a nap and Abraham coming back in seemed like just a few second, but based on the dialogue, I got the impression it was supposed to be at least a half hour or so, long enough for her to have time to fall asleep. I’m guessing there was a scene or two of him rummaging around in other parts of the building that got cut out.
I took it more as “Don’t take unnecessary risks”.
The walker on the street was walking away. The guy in the office was stuck behind the glass. Neither of them were threats.
She’d already made comments to him about how he seemed to be going out of his way to get into risky situations.
Completely understand her point about going down the block to kill a walker that was moving away from them, given the situation. On the other hand, you ALWAYS clear out the building you’re in if you plan to hole up there for a while. Leaving a walker “alive” in the building is NEVER a good idea, and I was surprised they got away with it.
Speaking of the editing, I was completely confused with the confrontation between Daryl’s little group in the woods and the guys driving the truck. I thought they were within view of each other, which is why it surprised me that Daryl was able to “hide” and then they were able to get away. I was also taken aback by the complete inability of the beefy guy from the other group to see the walker stuck (?) on the rock. It was moving around and hissing, and he walks RIGHT PAST IT, close enough to get grabbed and bitten. How does that happen?
Yeah, that was another one. I thought Darryl somehow got them surrounded by the other group. I thought the other group was kinda of closing down on the three tweakers. But the way it turned out, they had, somehow, just narrowed them down to a little U shaped area and Darryl could still walk in, grab them and get back out. That whole scene was a mess. Bad camera angles (all feet), bad editing, even the story was a kinda sloppy.
Are you talking about on Talking Dead? That was Michael Rooker, he played Merle, not Daryl, and as he’s not on the show anymore he doesn’t know anything more than a regular viewer about current plotlines.
Or was there another interview you mean?
I thought it was obviously Glenn’s voice. So obvious that I didn’t even think there would be any question about it.
The editing in this episode was terrible though, especially everything to do with Daryl, the three random people, and the group following them.
I think the ‘new group’ are ex terminates. And the voice on the talkie might be the blond douche bag or a trap?
The interview I mentioned is here.
Here is the exchange
Ah, I missed that part then. I thought she was just having problems killing them for some reason since she didn’t want him to kill the one in the building. I can see not killing the one on the street, but any in the buildings need to go, especially one RIGHT there.
Did anyone else see the whiteboard in the background where the walker was trapped? It said something about everyone turning and I thought something about killing the brain to kill them. It went by pretty quick to see fully though.
Pretty sure they stole Daryl’s motorcycle and crossbow to pay off their debt.
There’s a community of not-nice people, probably akin to the “Claimers” that Daryl fell in with back in Georgia during the Terminus season. Let’s call them BadGuys.
Daryl, Sasha and Abraham stumbled into a BadGuys ambush that was set up and waiting to kill someone specific. We don’t know who.
In the process of getting away from the BadGuys ambush, Daryl gets separated from Sasha and Abraham. Daryl stumbles across three strangers in the woods.
It turns out those three strangers used to be part of the BadGuys group, but left in order to care for the sister with diabetes. It’s unclear whether diabetic girl was part of BadGuys and was being mistreated so they all left, or if she was never part of BadGuys so her sister and sister’s boyfriend left the group to go care for her. Either way, it seems likely that they stole the insulin from the BadGuys camp.
Once diabetic sister died, they had no compelling reason not to return to the BadGuys. As we saw in the episode, they were welcome back but would have to pay for what they stole. (And the expense of the search party.) With the sister dead, and having the drop on Daryl, what better way to repay that debt than by bringing back a shiny new motorcycle and a snazzy crossbow?
Daryl turned around when he heard the gun cock.

I’m proud to have provided help. Goodbye. Stay cheerful. (Bites kill.)
