The Walking Dead; 6.06 "Always Accountable" (open spoilers)

That was the general theme of most of their conversation but in that one specific instance what she said was “there is no need to leave breadcrumbs”.

Sasha seemed to be saying the door was locked and there was no way into the room (short of breaking the glass). Perhaps it seemed like breaking the glass door or wall more trouble than it was worth to kill a zombie who didn’t seem to have a way to reach them.

There’s dead walkers everywhere, I’m not sure why anyone would see one and automatically know that this one means there’s people that need to be killed nearby.
And speaking of not leaving breadcrumbs, why did Sasha step in the mud?

Wish it was a full show with just Daryl and the main plot was moving along.

I assumed since she was talking about what a good tracker he was, the footprint was specifically intended for Daryl. A solid line of de-animated walkers along the ground leading up to the door of their building might have been too obvious, though?

Yeah, I thought it was really dumb idea not to eliminate the zombie behind the glass door.
Especially taking a nap with that thing there. Doesn’t seeing nearby prey excite the walkers to exert themselves a bit more? It just might get itself into enough of a frenzy to break itself through! Dumb, dumb, dumb!

I liked it. It’s nice that the writers added a little color to the ensemble players and gave them some dialogue. And there’s a new group only 20 miles from Alexandria. Are they good guys or bad guys? Are they being lead by a bowlegged, cowboy boot wearin’, sheriff-type named Wade or Wayne? Does Wade/Wayne report to someone else?
Sasha - What the hell you got to grin about?
Abe - We won darlin’.

Abe - Cause loose ends makes my ass itch.

Classic Abe Ford. Adrenaline junkie, practicing alcoholic, horny.
The new blonde guy said, “We pick up Patty. Nothing more than that.” Did “Patty” turn out to be a truck? (Patty002 was the license plate number on the Pattrick Fuel Company truck Daryl finds later.)
New blond guy - We knock you over the head, tie you up, threaten to kill you. Why the hell did you come back?
Daryl - Merrill? Is that you?
How big is this new group if new blond guy and the girls didn’t know if Daryl was a member of their group?
I have absolutely no idea who’s voice came over the radio at the end? Schrodinger’s Glenn? Rick? New blond guy (was Daryl’s radio on his stolen motorcycle?)? Joe Mama? Someone from the new group monitoring the police band?

Here’s a picture of the dumpster, showing that Glenn could have slid underneath.

The show is just becoming boring, lazily written, and character conflicts are almost below children’s lit. They are also too focused on making Rick and the other protags right, they will set up a situation like the quarry with a reasonable difference of opinion on how to deal with it and then whoops plot device Rick was right.

This episode featured some of the laziest zombie deaths ever, a dude who has survived years blunders into a hissing zombie trapped between a boulder and a tree?!

The diabetic goes to lay flowers near the face of corpses and then collapses and lays down when they wake up?! Why did Darryl or the other two even let her do that without making sure they were brained first?

This is just getting lazy writing interesting zombie deaths.

There was an episode last season where Michonne and Rosita are shocked Sasha is hunting walkers outside Alexandria, they find her and stage an intervention.

I was like no, everyone should be going out in teams to hunt walkers, not going la la la no threat here.

Every walker “demobilized” around the compound is one less to threaten it.

So did she catch zombieism from them, or did they catch diabetes from her? Both?

The moral of this episode is, “No Good Deed Goes Unpunished.”

What should they do if these two chumps show up at Alexandria seeking sanctuary? They turned on Darryl, who saved them. Would they turn on Alexandria? Can they be turned out, to rat on Alexandria to the assholes they would surrender to yet again?

My bet is they get rescued by Daryl in the next ep and invited to live there.

That has already happened, and they screwed him when they found he had transportation. I would be hard put not to kill them if I saw them again in that situation. I think they will tell the Bad Guys about Daryl’s description of Alexandria. “I can walk it from here.” :dubious:

Everywhere is within walking distance is you have the time

I just watched the episode last night, it sucks that Daryl kept gettin’ crossbow stolen. At the end when the new guy and girl take his bike and cross bow, I see people were wondering how he knew that they were robbing him - if you watch closely, Daryl is pushing the bike and the girl signals to the guy and it’s at that time that it shows Daryl looking down at his side mirror and sees them pull out their gun on him. Its a quick clip, but its there.

What were the two zombies that killed the diabetic woman in that protected their heads from the fire?

I really hope that wasn’t Glenn. I didn’t want Glenn to get killed, but if he’s not dead then I feel the show cheated unless they come up with something supremely clever to get him out of it.

I assume the head guy on the hunt is some big reveal of a baddie from the comics (or possibly someone we’ve seen before) since they took such great pains not to show him above the waist.

In addition to hearing the gun, I thought Daryl also saw it about to go down from the side mirror on the bike.

For some reason the black and white of the first episode in this sequence didn’t bother me. But seeing it in the “previously on” recap does. They should return those to color.

The noise of the hammer cocking is why he looked in his mirror.

It was more magical TWD writing, but they were in a greenhouse covered with melted glass.
