The Walking Dead; 6.06 "Always Accountable" (open spoilers)

Or the walkers pushed the dumpster over Schrödinger’s Glenn. When Glenn and Nicholas first climbed onto the dumpster, the dumpster was positioned directly against a chain link fence. In the follow-up overhead shots, the dumpster is completely surrounded by walkers. The walkers moved the dumpster. Did they move it far enough to hide/protect Glenn?

OTOH, maybe the Nicholas character so bitter that even the walkers could no longer stomach him and simply shuffled off stage right before they could chow down on our favorite pizza delivery guy?

Smoking kills. Especially in a forest fire.

While I really don’t think that a greenhouse (being used as a greenhouse and not a storage shed) would contain enough stuff to create a fire hot enough to melt glass that high up, here’s a picture of the windshield of a friend’s truck after it caught fire. But, like I said, foam rubber (and just a foot away) probably burns much hotter than some herbs and spices and garden hoses. In fact, I doubt you could even start a fire big enough to do that kind of damage in a backyard greenhouse.

Some greenhouses are plastic.

But it wasn’t just the greenhouse that was burning; it was right in the middle of the forested area that the new guy and girl had set on fire (as they discussed with Daryl earlier in the episode).

Seems weird they introduced a new enemy before the previous enemy is addressed since I am assuming these guys have no connection to the Wolves. I guess one or the other will join with Alexandria to get rid of the third.

I’ve speculated that perhaps the dumpster had partially rusted through on the bottom, and Glenn was able to climb up inside it to be further protected.

I’m leaning towards a theory up thread that Schrodinger’s Glenn will escape and briefly re unite with Maggie before she gets whacked. :dubious:

I was like, “He survived a childhood with Merle and those guys who “claimed” everything - you think he’s afraid of you three jackasses?”

I know eh. I’d like to see Daryl go straight-up Merle when he finds them.

“Sorry.”
“Oh you will be.”

I know they’ve deviated from the comics in major ways, but Glenn gets killed in the comic books.

That’s as good a guess as any. There’s also a staircase within yards of the dumpster or a possible gap under the fence, maybe Glenn makes use of one of those.

I just hope that they show Glenn’s escape (if he escapes  ) rather than resort to another “Rick is trapped in the motorhome - Rick staggers up to the gates of Alexandria” scenarios. They might as well write the TARDIS into the script.

A wizard did it

I thought there were walkers on the other side of the fence, hence the reason they didn’t climb over the top. As for Rick, I didn’t think the motorhome was surrounded just yet, more like they were just coming up the road.

Didn’t much care for this episode, myself. Though I suppose it was necessary to set up this other group that’s presumably going to be important later. With each passing episode, my desire for Glenn to actually be dead is increasing. They’d be jerking us around enough if they revealed that he pulled off some miraculous escape one or two episodes later. As more and more episodes go by, it makes the idea of a death fake-out even more unpalatable.

I wanted Glenn to live, but I’d prefer it not to be because of shitty writing. On the other hand, shitty writing is kind of what killed him in the first place, so perhaps that makes things even. Anyway, I feel like they’re just filling time now. I get irritated whenever I feel like I can see the AMC suits’ fingerprints on the show.

For anyone who’s played the Telltale game:

Did anyone else think that this other group with strict rules and the diabetic sister feel like that community in Savannah?

And for anyone who hasn’t, you really should play it.

What did the writers do wrong with insulin?

Well, given its short shelf life and the presumed end of production caused by the zombie outbreak, anyone dependent on insulin should be long dead by now.

If you are referencing Terminus, I’ll be “that” guy who nitpicks geography. Terminus was no where near Savannah. It looked on the map to be slightly to the west of metro Atlanta. Appropriate since, in the early 1800s, Terminus actually was the name of the settlement that eventually became Atlanta.

That would finish the trifecta nicely:

2013, midseason fall finale: Herschel dies
2014, midseason fall finale: Beth dies
2015, midseason fall finale: ???

They showed them treating a low blood sugar with insulin.

Season 1 spoiler for the Telltale Walking Dead game:

I’m referring to the community in Savannah in Season 1 of the Telltale adventure game. I forgot what it was called, but it wasn’t Terminus. The one that exiled weak people. There was a subplot where one of the characters was a resident of the community and was sleeping with one of the doctors to get insulin for her sister.
