Exactly! I don’t even turn it on hot for the dishes anymore, yay!
Time to go home, drink a beer and cook sump’n. Poke steaks, rice 'n gravy, butterbeans and bizkits to be exact.
I always wash in cold - been doing it for years, except if I have to run a bleach load, which is rare.
I played in mud for a while, and I’ve got some chickie strips thawing for supper. Thinking I’ll fry up some pierogi as a side and cook up something green - maybe green beans? Works for me.
All in all, a good day.
home. One day down, four more to go. Weather was perfect today, but the humidity and storms come back tomorrow.
btw - Thanks, swampy. At least you care. Not like some people who shall be nameless be their initials are flytrap.
Supper was yum - chickie strips, pierogi, onions-n-shrooms. We’s both stuffded. I think it’s time to assume the knit position and try to get to bed early.
MWAH!
Dindin was also good at Chez Swamp. Kitchen is clean and a chikin for tomorrow’s dindin is almost roasted. Go Me!
Now it’s chill mode time.
So remember a few weeks ago when the dish fell off my truck? Though a new one has been ordered it still may be a few weeks and I am tired of not getting my job done so…
Zip ties, gaffers tape and crazy glue does the job. It took about an hour and the old dish has been re-attached. And it works.
Will try to post a pic of Frankendish tonight.
Din din might be meatloaf; might not. Depends if the power stays on, lol.
'cause, you see, apparantly I have a rain dance. Yep, I was dancing to Cee-Lo Green one minute, and the next there were 60 mile an hour winds out of nowhere, lol. Poor cats. First they have to watch mom dancing around, and now they’re glued to the weather channel, aka The Front Screen Door. Not actually raining yet, but visibility is really low due to intense dust everywhere. Which is par for the course. The thunder, however…if that catches up along with the wind, this is gonna be pretty nasty. In an area where AC is on the roof, washers and dryers and everything else is outdoors, and houses aren’t built as protection from rain, this could be nasty.
I’m lookin’ forward to it
Oh, and of course it’s raining; I watered the lawn by bucket this morning. :smack: Well, at least I know what to do next time we need some moisture.
I’ve been working on [del]the railroad[/del] my skirt and so far so good. It’s going to be a bit dressier than what I wanted but it looks pretty. Meanwhile there’s a schnoodle staring at me as I type. I’m not sure why since I finished eating dinner about 10 minutes ago. Hope springs eternal, I guess.
Is that anything like Chez Whiz?
at least the schnoodle is only staring, Sticky. Smokey scolds me for not paying attention to her. BTW - pics of the skirt, please, even in progress. I’m interested since I used to make many of my clothes and my start doing that again soon.
Cheez Whiz is made of neither.
There is no neither, there is only do.
No, wait.
There is no neither, their is only either.
No, wait.
Soylent Green is made of neither…
Can I get back to you on this?
Ok, you talked me into it. Pictures for rosie. This is what it’s ‘supposed’ to look like and here’s what I have so far. Obviously the lighting in my living room at 9 p.m. isn’t so hot…
Cool!
I actually really like that!
Also, requests for schnoodle pics, so that I can replace the mental image of a suddenly-sentient spaghetti noodle.
Thanks! I’ve given up for the evening as sewing at my work table seems to take a toll on my shoulders.
Here are my 3 spaghetti noodles.
(The first one is mine and herbs’ favorite.) Right, herbs?
Hiya, Scones! How you?
Wow. Phoukaroo twice in one day??
