shoe, for an oatmealbath, put around a cup of regular oatmeal in a blender and make nearly powder out of it. Add it to a lukewarm bath and soak with your favorite trashy novel close at hand. 
Or do as suggested and buy some Aveeno.
I buy the aloe peppermint gel in the lotion section at Walgreen’s. Moisturizes and cools at the same time. Both of these come from many years worth of sunburns and poison ivy camping and hiking.

TGIF. So sleepy. Just can’t seem to get enough sleep. Thank goodness I can sleep in tomorrow. I still need to unpack my suitcase and do laundry.

Saw the Dr again today and got my flu shot. Damn knee is still swollen and aches sometimes. Dr said may hasp we should get an MRI to make sure nothing is torn in there. Flipping arthritis. Getting old is not for the weak.
I had a rough week at irk just trying to get caught up after my business trip. I am almost done with my employee’s evaluations which I hate doing. We are having our annual Fall Fest in a couple of weeks and I have barely started to prepare for that and I. Need to redo all my vendors’ contracts by the end of the year. Plus training. Something new everyday. Today it was mandatory Suicide Prevention training. It was on a different annex so we loaded up my bus and took a little field trip. Very sad training.
TGIF. Off to have a healthy midnight snack and hopefully some quality sleep. The garbage truck usually wakes me on Sat. Can’t win for losing. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I has teh sick. Was supposed to go out. Phone rings & before I even look at it I know it’s to cxl the flight, which means I can go back to bed. This caused [del]much[/del] some (I don’t feel up to much) “Yippy”-ness.
Does anyone have a spare, non-stuffed up & non-scratchy throated head I could borrow?

No big plans for today. I may even go back to bed for a bit just cause. I took some chikin boobs, thighs, and livers out of da freezer yestiddy. I have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for some fried chikin, green beans, rice 'n gravy, and bizkits so that shall be dindin.

I get to do crabbers today. I’ve already snagged the one they’ve been trying to get for weeks - and he’s really close to home, so it’ll be an easy one. **FCD **is going on a ride to Annapolis with his [del]biker gang[/del] H.O.G. chapter so I told him I’d cover today.
I’ve also got some laundry to do - I’m hoping I can finish the last of my travel clothes today. There’s a load of towels in already - not travel towels, just a load that’ll need the longest time to dry. The cruise lines do provide clean towels daily. 
Beyond that, dunno what the day holds. Don’t care - it’s going to be sunny and beeyooteeful!

It’s a cool sunny 59 degrees, going to get up to 79 this afternoon.
I’m hoping to get in a lot of irk today, I have missed time to make up and I need to makes lots of money anyway.
I need to do another load of laundry sometime today. We’ll see how it goes, I think my nieces husband is coming back today to work on the attic. I wish I could get up there and poke around. I know I have more dishes up there somewhere.
**FCD **is on his way. I’ve got a load of towels on the line and a load of t-shirts and socks in the washer. Last load will be my fancy clothes from the formal nights - well, as fancy as I can get. Most are fabrics I don’t want tumbled with t-shirts and jeans, so they’ll all tumble with themselves. Three are sweaters that will have to dry flat - gotta spread towels on the guest bed.
Sorry - don’t mean to rub your collective noses in the excitement that is my life…

I did go back to bed for a bit. I kinda sorta slept but not really. OYKW is stirrin’ as I post. I shall go into the kitchen and make brunch shortly. Ham 'n cheese omelettes, toast, grits, and some cantaloupe (can’t find my ladder) sounds good.

Currently RT is fixing breakfast. I am sitting on the couch being grumpy. I’ve started up doing a C25K again and today my ankle has decided it’s a no go. RT has so courteously offered to get my mom’s walker for me. :rolleyes:

sari, IME, with pets, it wasn’t necessarily an either/or situation of waking up to empty the bladder or because the little rascals were up; it was the critters jumping on my (full) bladder. :eek:
My SIL took me out to dinner last evening. Plumb near wore me out, but the steak was good (gotta love medical orders to eat more red meat ).
Brunch has been ingested. Sloth has ensued. OYKW went back to bed and I am, well, slackin’ off on teh intartoobz.
Up and caffeinated. I have the windows open. Closing shift tonight.

Sticky, my youngest sis would wear a cupcake hat also. She’s also wear a brain hat, several of which I need to make, as soon as I get some pink yarn. Maybe I’ll head to WalMart after I monitor my crabber.

Took the cat to the vet for a checkup today. He’s in pretty good shape. The vet was impressed at how good the cat’s teeth are. She also was surprised that he’s 14 years old, saying he doesn’t really look as old as that. So it went pretty well.
