Did you not read what I wrote???
Mmm, rotisserie.
(I love rotisserie chicken.)
I had lots to do this weekend and didn’t do much. Well, back to work then.

Did you not read what I wrote???
You’ve quit your meds again, haven’t you?
Mmm, meds.
(Okay, I’ll stop now. )
Caffeine is my drug.
Okay, back to work for real this time.
I have a poke roast with sweet N.O.T. in the slow cooker. This shall form the basis for dindin for a couple of nights this week. I have much vegetation in da freezer to choose from. Go Me!
My uncle is still in ICU. The doc wants him to stay in ICU overnight for observation, but he will move to a regular horsepistol room tomorrow. Mom says he’s talkin’ nonstop which is his wont. I love him, but the man is a chatterbox and will drive you crazy with the nonstop talk. He’s also where I get my penchant for bad puns and awful jokes, so I forgive the constant chatter.
I done killded the MMP!
Home from Hagerstown.
I loaded up some stuff in the truck and took it with me. I didn’t look at furniture though, I have been dragging ass the last few days and instead we took it easy and had a nice lunch.
I measured the area where I wanted to put the washer/dryer and they won’t fit.
It was a day of WTFs though.
One my way out I saw a woman standing on the side of the beltway. I thought no she isn’t, well yes she was. She walked across the beltway. WHO walks across the beltway!!!
Then on the way home this white SUV in front of me is driving erratically. Speeding up, slowing down, weaving a little. I look through to the front seat and the driver and passenger are wailing on each other - driving down the road at 70mph. I couldn’t tell if they were playing or fighting but finally I caught up to them and it was the man smacking away on the woman who was ducking with her arms over her head. I guess he knew I was trying to get his tag number because he abruptly switched lanes and slowed down. I moved over and slowed down but by the time I got his tag number he had stopped hitting her. Maybe I should have called it in anyway.
Healing thoughts to {{{Uncle Martin}}}
No, I’ll keep it alive. I’m sorry to hear your uncle isn’t well, swampbear.
I’ve been spending all day not reading this book that will help me manage better at work. Is it because I don’t want to read about work again, or am I scared at how badly I’m doing? Think it’s both, honestly.
Cog thanks for the kind words about my uncle. As for the book, it’ll be there to read when you’re ready. Or, we can ask BooFae to ready a box of pointy stick weildin’ Sri Lankan paratrooper ninja spiders. PSWSLPNS are really good for keepin’ people in line.
Never hurts to have options.
The london broil was broiled and it was bloody and yummy! As was the salad and the defrosted and heated-up twice-baked N.O.T.! I’s stuffded!
I think it’s time to assume the knit position - I’ve started a cute yellow hat that will be donated to the food pantry. So MWAH!!
**Mooomm. ** can you post a pic of the slippers? The brain hat is awesome. I want one.
Prayers being sent for Uncle Martin
cogs. Which managerial book are you trying to read. I have several in my queue. I really want to be the best Manager ever. All my employees love me and me them. Always room For improvement.
I has a sad.
Classmate from my accounting course came over for some study help. Poor girl is NOT doing well in class. Of course, it doesn’t help that she had a major domestic upheaval right before the first exam, but still, there are some very basic concepts that she just can’t seem to get straight.

swampyI read vegetation in your freezer as much vegetarians.
My friend is on his way over for the cables. We’re having chicken wraps made from last night’s fried chicken tenders.

Vegetarians are tasty; they’re grass fed, ya know.
Worked. Home. Beer.

Today I shall mostly be drivin’ stuff. I’m giving a friend a lift to pick up a bunch of stuff left at her parents’ house, which is a 200+ mile round trip. Hopefully I shall make it back by 6, as I want to nip down the allotment, cos a different nice neighbour gave me a load of lovely wallflower plants yesterday, and they’ll need watering.
Anyway, speaking of watering, I needs a shower (see what I did there?).

Howdy All! I feel accomplished. I had a good day at irk. Louie was irking too. I finished my employee evaluations
and IDP’s and submitted them a day early. Managerial work is work.
We are having our 12th annual Fall Fest & Fire safety fair Thursday week. I am picking up the hay for the hayride tomorrow. The only place to buy hay in the Keys is from the Sheriffs animal farm. the pumpkins will arrive next Tuesday. There are two bins of 37-40 count and they are dirty always. We use the pumpkins for decoration and pumpkin decorating. This year instead of hand washing each we are going to put them. On a trailer and take themto the car wash which is right there.
Even though the families are supposed to bring a pumpkin many will show with no pumpkin or just one to share with multiple kids. Or, just a tiny little pumpkin. We get sponsorship money.
We are having a contracted face painter, hired DJ. Food being sold by a command committee.
The fire dept brings several trucks and ambulances, does a Stop, Drop and Roll booth, the housing PPV decorates their maintenance vans and trucks and kids Truck or Treat. There are Bounce houses, basketball challenge, and inflatable boot camp challenge. There are sponsor booths and the main attraction is the pumpkin decorating. The Sheriffs Animal Farm brings usually a sloth, mini horse, turtles, a goat, ferrets, bunnies and and new this year is a skunk.
This event the first time I did it which was the second one I had about 19 kids and parents. Last year we had over 600 attend. We do a lot of events but this one is mine. Pumpkin decorating, decoration for the hay wagon is ours. I buy tempura paint, 11 gallons and we fill little condiment cups. We make hair for the pumpkins out of yarn, we supply Pom Pom, glitter, feathers, markers, etc. we do al “needle in the haystack” games where we mound up loose hay and hide trinkets and Candy bags in the hay stack. We are talking target audience for little kids. My new worker is allergic to the yarn so the Youth group is making the hairpieces oh and the face parts. We have eyes, noses, lip/teeth, horns and ears. The hay ride is just around the football field. It is just a good time but has grown so much. It’s almost lost some of its original charm.
