I’m irking from home, awaiting delivery of new appliances. They are scheduled to be here between 3 and 7PM but mebee they will come earlier. I’m in a tizzy about this, and don’t know what to do for supper. Somedays I just make myself mental.
swampy, so you’re saying <insert name> can <insert head in rectum> for all you care?
Ahhh, swampy, the pie bakage will be of the pumpkin variety (both regular and sugar free), although doggio’s Chinese chicken pie idea does sound good. I’m picturing bean sprouts, chicken, carrots, water chestnuts, mushrooms and green peas with a crust of wonton wrappers.
: steals red’s idea :
nm
That does sound good. Let me know how it turns out, 'k?
Happy Hump Day!
We had rain, we had snow, now it’s clear.
I’m finishing the laundry I started yesterday. I’m thinking about getting a spin dryer because the little one I Have takes forever to dry clothes.
Lots to do again today. It seems like the work never ends.
QFT doggio!
I have consumed N.O.L. and assisted the person in example one. Be nice to da bear and da bear will be nice right backatcha.
I have no desire to do anything else today, but I must so I shall.
ETA: I finished up playin’ in the files. Go Me!
I slept in til 9:30 (I luv this week)! Turned on the heater  'cause the thermostat in the hallway said 55, and I took pity on the kids. Why they actually put layers on in the house!
I am sipping coffee, reading da Dope, and then I shall commence the dreaded house-irk.
I do have a cat-on-lap, so it might take a while.
Happy Hump Day!
Evenin’ all!
Football overran last night, as some inconsiderate player scored a winning goal in the last 30 seconds, so everyone went into overexcited mode and wouldn’t go home right after the match like decent people. Got back after midnight, then had to be up at 6.30 for other irk. At least I was stood inside in the warmish, it chucked it down all night, and everyone else got soaked to the skin and frozen.
Accordingly, I is tired, and let the chip shop make dindin.
I’m off tomorrow! I bought a bag of sweet potatoes dead cheap from the shop on the way home, I might try make pie and pretend to be 'Murrican. Maybe I’ll go hunt down a tofu turkey too.
It is very, very good.
flytrap is actually makin’ sense today Nuts. Sweet N.O.T. pie is very, very good.
I must be doing something wrong.
I shall speak with my Rabbi and Physician.
I went to Chipotle for lunch today and stupidly forgot my wallet at home. Didn’t realize it until I was at the register. All I had was a checkbook, but of course they don’t take checks. The guy in front of me overheard the exchange with the cashier as he was gathering up his items and said he would pay for my burrito. I offered to give him a check in exchange, but he just refused and asked if I wanted a drink or chips, too.
Thanks, dude. I was terribly embarrassed about forgetting my wallet and was ready to walk out with no food, but you made my day. I don’t know your name, but I’ll pay it forward.
I went to my appointment. It looks like I may be doing a job searching course in January. I guess I can look for jobs on my own until then too. I’ll see what happens.
It’s nice to hear about people being human every now and then
And I thought I was a Saint when I worked at the Library, taking personal checks to me so the guy would have change!
chizz first, howdy! LTNS! This is the kind of thing that restores one’s faith in humanity.
Midget never hurts to take a course. Meanwhile if you see a gig that floats your boat I say go after it.
And on that note, this place is daid, so da bear is buggin’ out. On the plus side, I got a lot of stuff accomplished today so Go Me!
The last thing I accomplished was to order a pizza online. OYKW is buggin’ out of his place around four so I told him I shall show up at da cave pizza in hand shortly thereafter.
Let the loooooooooong weekend and the feastin’ begin!
But if you mention your cat or dog, you will find that we use the “P word” a lot.
(Pics!!)
I totally forgot that we start every Thanksgiving with way too much excercise, too early in the morning. I guess I just totally blocked it out. I’ll be walking instead of running, but The Boy made sure I was registered today.
He went out and bought a bag of canned goods to drop off at the event. He also dropped me off at work and took my van to get its oil changed, for which I am grateful.
I think I am finally done crocheting. All the stuff is in the washer. Once it comes out of the dryer, I’ll bag it and take it to Mom’s. Yay!
Supper will be fish and assorted sides. It’s still raining, but from the looks of the radar, it won’t last much longer and we’re clear of the snow band. I am pleased about this.
It’s been a good, lazy day!
