I dunno, what with the way the American right was scared into supporting torture and how they argue that abortion should be illegal because it makes them sad and how they think Muslims should be persecuted to one degree or another because Muslims upset them and make them even sadder than abortion and how they have tantrums if someone doesn’t sing your anthem on cue or treats a piece of cloth in a manner not to their liking or insists that their bigotry towards homosexuals must be accommodated or who’s the real bigot here huh, it seems to me that the American right are pretty needy and want - nay, need - the rest of society to coddle them and give them their way so they aren’t sad.
It’s better when done with a straight face.
