The WoW "Burning Dog Legion" (Cairne/Horde) 10-man Raid List.

If we’re voting, I’d vote to just do Ulduar. However some folks might want to meet earlier (or later) to put together a group for the weekly.

Rumpole did the weekly already last night, but I suppose I could drag Muz along (or sub him in for Naxx). But yeah, I’d rather get as far as we can in Ulduar.

ok good to hear (from 2/10ths of ya) Unless I hear overwhelming dissent, we’ll stick with Ulduar first and then naxx if there’s time/ppl/pug.

Ulduar first, Naxx weekly second…ICC trash rep run/Marrowgar/Lady Deathwhisper third.

You are very optimistic. I think we’ll be lucky to get half a dozen Ulduar bosses down.

I meant that would be my order of priorities for the night, not the whole agenda for one night!

Sadly, it looks as though Rahuul won’t be able to join you guys Monday night. I went hiking this weekend and about three hours in, slipped and fell and landed on my wrist which shattered the head of my radius of my right hand. Now I get to learn to do everything left handed. Hopefully once they put the permanent cast on on monday that I’ll regain some use of the right hand so i can play again.

Ow. Get well; hope it heals well.

Oh man…that sucks…Get well, JayRx!

Ow! That sucks Jay! Although what male isn’t adept at using the computer with just his left hand?

Ow ow ow ow ow ow. Fingers crossed (on your behalf :p) for a quick recovery. Hope it wasn’t three hours back *out *until you could get medical attention for it (or at least some pain killers).

Only for certain tasks. ;p

Isn’t too bad today. I’m just exhausted despite sleeping most of the day.

As for the day it occurred, it only took us about 40 minutes to get from the spot of the accident to the ER. The crappy thing is getting in to see a hand doc. They can’t see me now till Thursday, and this stupid temp splint is itchy. Oh well.

Enjoy Ulduar tonight gang.

If it makes you feel any better, we didn’t get to do Ulduar. We only had 7-8 folks show up, and then one joined a VoA25 raid, so we came up short. Five of us ended up doing a full clear of PoS (farming for Battered Hilt and various other gear) but I don’t think anyone got anything other than d/e trash and cloth.

I hope whoever was unable to join last night can make it next Monday.

Actually Lightbird got a sword that was an iLvl UG but I’m not sure how much better it really is. (some +s some -s, but it left my defense over 540)
But he still has a lot of sub-200 iLvl gear in his Tanking set so I really need to get to work.
How was my tanking? We wiped once early on, and then relied on the 2 outstanding ret Pallies to pull us out of the Ick-mess. Otherwise I don’t think I lost too much aggro, but only Kene would know who was getting healed.
I think the RDF won’t even let me into HoR yet so I doubt we would’ve done well with that.

Lightbird is a Pally tank, right? Can you give me a rundown on the stats on both swords? I might be able to advise some, if you’re interested.

You did fine, Bird. Part of the “Ick mess” was my fault. He was casting pursuit on me and I ran, get this, into the corner like I was 5. >.<

Okay to be fair, I was trying not to run through the muck and accidentally went towards the corner because of where it was placed, but still, that was completely my fault.

Trust me, it’s still not as bad as the first time we I tried regular PoS. We ended up with just me and Reins taking out 75% of Ick’s HP because most of us ended up dying horribly.

I love Ick - probably my favorite fight in the game, because it’s so random, and yet easier than it looks. With all his special abilities he’s likely to take someone or other out at almost any time, but because he keeps stopping to use them, he can’t bring the hammer down if the heals or tank go down. I’ve beaten him a bunch of times on Muz after the heals went down, and the other day, the group I was in knocked him down from about a third of his hit points after the tank went down, with my clothie shadow priest holding aggro. If he’d just run towards me and beaten on me, we probably would have wiped.

The one thing to remember with Ick is that no matter what special thing he’s about to do, run away.

Casting mines? Run away from them.
Casting nova? Run away from it.
Casting pursuit? Run away from him.

Really, you can’t go wrong with fleeing. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah, the King Arthur maneuver.
