The WoW "Burning Dog Legion" (Cairne/Horde) 10-man Raid List.

Differences that I can recall:

1.) The big adds in Ph2 are new.
2.) I think melee can hit her from the ground during the air phase now, if they’re right below her (maybe).
3.) No more aggro resets.

BTW, I read some previews but was unclear on one thing - can the big adds be silenced/stunned or only interrupted (a tankspot video recommended interrupting their big aoe attack; the other vid I watched recommended that melee dps just run further than 10 yards while it was being cast).

Hate to tell you guys this, but I think I’m out for the raid tonight. Have a board meeting to attend to at the time we usually start. Sorry for the short notice.

shakes fist at Yeti You tell your Board you have a dragon to fight!

How are we looking for confirmed attendees? Are we going to have enough?

IIRC, you want to disarm them.

I’ve got a few clever stories and a winning smile.

We’ve got 4 accepted, and 3 unique tentatives (one is Yeti another is Reins and the last is Thereisnocow)
So, we can see how many show up and probably run PoS again or maybe ToC-normal.

If we can’t fill Ony10 I may try to find a group for ToC10, since I haven’t done the weekly and that’s 5 Frost Badges. But if you guys need a healer for something I’m in – guildies first!

I’m hoping to be there, but I didn’t manage my sleep well over the weekend and I’m feeling pretty hosed. I should be there, just tired.

My boss named my computer Garfield. Pretty sure it was a deliberate shot at me. But in this case, Mondays really do suck for me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Do let me know how that works out for you.

So we did really well on Ony, first try! Though things were getting a little hectic near the very end of Phase two. (Minus 50 DKP!)

Oddly, Ony seems to be a very melee friendly fight, I pulled much higher DPS than I usually do (around 4.5k rather than the usual 3.9-4k). I guess most of it is pretty straight forward though.

ToC fell apart, but I’d say we did passably well on the worms, even though we wiped. We almost got Acidmaw down on the second attempt.

Overall, good job. I got Ony’s head, but I’m not sure the DPS quest reward is much better than my neck (DKs and agility aren’t bestest friends and hit isn’t exactly too needed for me right now), so I may actually have a tank neck now.

Seeing as Ony went down faster than a Mage without Light Feathers, I’d say it worked well.

Had sooooo many other ways to put that, but I’m not sure they’d be even Pit appropriate.

I would have gone with “faster than your mom when the rent’s due,” but that’s just 'cause I’m a classy lady.

Yeah, that’s what I was going with at first, but I’ve got a stronger brain-mouth filter than you do.

Good job guys! Wish I was there instead of being bored at a board meeting. I iz jelluz.

Most people over the age of five do.

Since we had some success at Ony10, I put it back in the event again. Depending on the group we can try ToC10 again instead/after.
Don’t know what the weekly is, but if it’s ever Naxx, we can bust some people through there and get the 10 emblems.

Sounds good to me. This week’s weekly is Marrowgar (in ICC), so I think we’re not quite up to tackling it as a guild.

Can you believe I have another stupid meeting this coming Monday too? This time it’s an HOA meeting to discuss Melo-Roos tax reduction by signing off on something that maybe a poison pill proposal…don’t know much about it ATM, but I’m gonna see if wifey will go to that one. Therefore, I’m signed on as Tentative.

Hey guys, I’ve recently reestablished contact with some old friends I used to play UO (and EQ and DAOC) with back in the day. They’re playing on Moon Guard (an RP server) and have established a small casual RP guild. As I hold a great deal of affection for these people and the RP aspect interests me more than putzing around doing dailies, leveling alts, and raids, I’ve decided to xfer my main toons over to avoid another level grind. I don’t really have the fortitude to split my play time between two different servers, and I have a feeling I’d just disappear from BDL anyways. I just wanted to say it was a great pleasure playing with you all and I wish you good luck working through the end content!
