Still no working computer. I called this morning, and apparently the replacement motherboard was damaged in-transit, so a replacement for the replacement (har!) must be ordered. So still no gaming PC for me, which means Kalathan won’t be participating in Monday’s raid after all (and I’d already clicked “accept” in anticipation of my computer being fixed by today)

Burning Dog Legion 10-Man Raid List:
We were short again last night, so we poked our heads into RS to look at the trash. 4 wipes later we called that a night and most of us moved on to PvP - EotS, which was really fun even though we lost. We may have to plan more PvP nights in the coming expansion. It may be a better solution to short groups on monday nights. (if weekly isn’t available)
PvPing together is not a bad idea for guild nights while we’re leveling, since we’d still be getting XP. That’s a good plan if we don’t have the right number of folks for a 5-man.
Sorry for not being available - I’m on a bit of a WoW hiatus, and have taken a complete break from raiding. It’s sort of a self-test for Cata - if I can’t be trusted to take a break now, then I should probably just stop playing, ya know?
Anyways, one of the things I have been allowing myself is BG PvP (on Darland), so if anybody sees me on, I’m likely queuing for those - if you want to join just let me know (we often have a group).
And I’m still without my gaming PC – the replacement motherboard arrived damaged, so it had to be re-ordered – so I’ve missed the last two Monday night sessions.
I can still play if I use our family laptop, but it’s not capable of handling the demands of a 10-man raid or a battleground. Even running a 5-man PUG can give it some lag issues.
I didn’t see a calendar event listed this week, but I’ll let you guys know anyways. I’ll be gone all this week (woo, vacation), so I won’t be available to raid with you guys tonight again.
Lots of chances to do ICC this weekend; based on our record the last few weeks I probably should have taken one but I guess I’m an optimist. I’ll be online tonight. If we don’t get a raid together, I’m up for some more BG pre-mades like we did last week. I also need the weekly raid quest on both my toons if we want to do that.
We’re having a bit of work done on our home today so I’m not sure how disrupted things will be; I might or might not be around.
I hope to be on tonight, now that the computer’s fixed.
I should be on tonight as well, still have the weekly to do, and we could do some BGs…maybe on Vent we will communicate well enough to roll as a gang of thugs. Hopefully have enough HP tonight to get the 270 pvp legs!
… and I should have enough HP to add another mount to my stable. I’m thinking the Kodo, this time.
I’ll check in tonight, and hopefully be able to hang around for a bit. Haven’t been on all week due to work, and it continues.

We also could try to get in on the new pre-Cata events that are apparently happening starting today.
Sorry I haven’t been around. Started a new job and the late start on Mondays edges me dangerously close to a “dead Tuesday” experience. Schedule’s in flux though, so things may change, but doubtful before Cata.

So, in terms of Cata prep, I think we need one tab in the guild bank dedicated to the new top-level materials and crafts; if someone wants to go to the trouble they could probably save a lot of space by auctioning or vendoring all of the blue level 80 BoEs, or else I’d be willing to contribute a couple thousand gold towards a fifth tab, so that people can drop off any herbs, ores, cloth, and any stuff they make towards leveling their trade skills.
Good idea Tom. We could also d/e stuff that’s not likely to auction for much, to help out folks who need enchants (or need to level enchanting or other crafting profs).
There’s no calendar event for tonight, but we will be doing ICC. The weekly quest is Marrowgar, so I suggest we just plow through the lower level and then get Festergut, Rotface and (if time allows) Blood Council. If we can get 9-10 people it should be easy.
I’ll be there tonight. I’m still getting used to the changes last week they made for ret pallies regarding combining the Crusader Strike and Divine Storm on the same cooldown. Another attempt to nerf our multiple mob attacks. Can’t count how many times I’m sitting there waiting like an idiot waiting for the CD while others are killing the mobs before I use my DS…leaving maybe one mob left that I could have killed off 3 seconds before with Templar’s Verdict.
