Otherwise not much doing. Took a hamburger out of the freezer for tonight and washed my new sleep/lounge-about-house pants (acquired 3 of them because I could) I got from Wally-Mart Moanday.
I really need to do some house-cleaning, but to do it I need to make a list; I’ve found that once I’ve made a list of things to do, I do them until the list is crossed off. But so far I have not made a list, so things are being done. Maybe tomorrow I’ll make a list.
Let me consider and see maybe when their Zombie Walk is this year. Its been a few years since we caught a ride in the Pods.
Mostly unpacked and got some prep work for putting The Desk back together in place. Got a buddy coming this weekend to help with the heavier/trickier moving.

I’ve had skool work to do, in fairness. Going way over the top on researching for a 2 minute presentation on adaptations of a plant of my choice. I appear to have chosen the most weird, highly adapted plant on the face of this earth. I think I have about half an hour’s worth of material so far, and I still have almost a week to go.
Do you think after they Plant you six feet under for making bad puns you’ll get a Page on Wikipedia?

I fear my PC may be dying. I’m downloading a bunch of updates which apparently got hung up. Firefox still isn’t working right. I don’t know if I should take it somewhere for a once-over or just bite the bullet and get a new one. I have a BIL who’s good with computers, but he’s a bit hard to take and I don’t want to just approach him asking a favor.
We’ll see how it goes after the downloads are installed. WAAAAAH!!
OK, my PC seems to be working correctly again. So I don’t need to buy a new one just yet. Whew!

Have yucky migraine headache today. Going to retreat back under the covers shortly. 'Beamer is upset, because he wants to sew his Halloween costume with me, which is awesome. Just can’t today.

Work was work; not bad and not good. We have another visiting manager trying to figure out where we are going wrong. Let’s see ---- managers who have no idea how to do the work they are bossing us about, a site boss who believes morale is optional and poor acceptable, and we know we’re getting ready for our biggest Peak yet. And even the bosses have stopped sharing information with each other let alone us. Yeah, we ain’t as good as we used to be. Go figure.
Sorry Ruble. Sounds like an oddly familiar death spiral for many firms. I wonder how these things start? Generally where I have worked, it’s been acquisitions coming on board and the cultures not meshing, or simply the integration process not happening correctly. I hope it smooths out.
It started raining overnight and it’s still coming down, gently, which is the best kind of rain. YAY!
