AHHRGH! A pox on the A/C repair people! They were supposed to be here an hour ago!
I managed to get away with getting just enough wisdom teeth out yesterday to still be allowed to go out to parties, only to have these A/C repair people screw me over!
If he doesn’t show up in the next 20 minutes, I will hunt him down and force him to fix my A/C, and then I am so out the freakin’ door and on my way.
Save some soft mushy foods and non-carbonated beverages for me!

WOO HOO!! A rockin’ good time today! Met lots of cool dopers for the first time and saw some I’d been missing for a while.

Once I finally figured out where I was going, and got there - had a fantastic time. I don’t even remember who I met, except for moi, and that’s only because I explained to Gingy that she would have known how to pronouce moi’s handle if she’d open a “what’s the origin of your handle?” thread once in a while. OO, and Skerri and her honey, both of whom were very fun. I know I talked to other people, but I was kind of too embarassed to ask handles of people I didn’t know, in case they weren’t message board people and looked at me funny.
The person with me, who is not a Doper, had a good time as well - she’s just sort of quiet around strangers.
My kids enjoyed the pool-ish and the bubbles and the video games and the toys and the dogs and happily did NOT enjoy Mary Prankster, which (whom?) I did. Enjoy. I didn’t do her. I enjoyed her. Without doing her.
That was the worst paragraph ever.
Anyhow…thanks a fifth or sixth time to our amazing host and hostess. I felt guilty about letting the kids just kind of wander, but every time I went to check on them everything was fine. I’m stunned and amazed that I never heard any kids screaming or fights breaking out. The harmony among all of those kids was just incredible. Mrs. Chance has some strange voodoo power, I think.
I have pics-a-plenty and shall put them up as soon as I remember where I left my photo album template.
I had a pretty good time…got pretty drunk, but met lots o’ nice people and had a driver to escort me home.
