Thing-a-Day, 2011 edition

I can’t believe it’s already March. For a first, I have done something every single day, although I did have a lot of catasrophic failures (!) in the form of glass that shattered in the kiln. I’m sorry that I stopped posting photos. Besides the failures, I have taken several items over to Mom, who is trying her hand at wire wrapping. This gives her something to practice on, and I don’t have to worry about setting the glass.

Yes, I come by this naturally.

I didn’t make it all the way through, either. It’s been hell at work all month and by the time I get home I either want to cry or sleep. I very much enjoyed the stuff I worked on, though, and I’ll keep it up when I can find time and energy. I’m glad we got to all share the experience - it made it more meaningful.
