Thirteen from House MD

It isn’t that I want her to have my babies, it’s more that I want to practice and practice and practice.

They set her up like some great mysterious character that you were going to gradually get to know. They implied she was horribly complex, and then didn’t deliver. Then they made her bisexual as a ratings grab.

I don’t dislike her enough to wish her dead, though. In fact, if she died, she’d be some sort of martyr like the other dead people.

Oh, and Amber and Donna (from Doctor Who) are the ugliest women I’ve seen on TV, at least, amongst those not supposed to be ugly or old. But at least Donna’s personality was somewhat good.

I don’t get the hate. She’s an okay actress. I haven’t noticed that she’s super skinny either. However, I don’t believe she has good chemistry with Foreman, so that part of the show seems contrived to me.

I just hate her because look, we could have had Amber, we could have had that black Mormon guy, we could have had any number of people who were a LOT more interesting. Then, we lost Kumar and Talb, but Thirteen perseveres. THAT’S what the people who make the show think we want? Really? The most boring of all possible options? And she gets ALL the storylines and screen time, when poor Kumar never got a one! Never! Talb got, like, two B plots, if that. But it’s the All Thirteen All the Time show.

Well remember that there was the Writers strike which wrote out half of a full season, plus then Kumar decided to quit the show.

And I don’t know that I would blame the state of Foreman and Thirteen’s relationship on her. Omar Epps (Foreman) really seems to have just stopped acting starting from his reappearance in Season 4. I think you would need to watch Wilde’s episodes previous to matching up with him to get a sense for what she can do. That might not be impressive, even still, but I really think you’re blaming her unfairly based on your memories of Epps as he used to be.

Though I will agree that overall the producers would have done better with Big Love than Taub.

Yeah, I’m extremely disappointed with Foreman these days too - he’s used up all the goodwill he used to have from me. I just think they’re BOTH boring, then.

I find her both intellectually and physically attractive. Obviously, this is not a common viewpoint.

It’s the eyes. She has smokin’ hot eyes. I wouldn’t move in with her or marry her or anything, but I’d do her after a martini or three. And I’d remember those eyes when I was doin’ it with my true love years later.
