She does nothing for me. She’s the least interesting character of all the “numbers.” One of the least intersting characters on television really. I don’t even think she’s hot. I mean, she’s pretty, but she’s not sexy. Amber wasn’t as pretty but was both more interesting and more sexy.
They tried to give her character more dimension by being bisexual and hooking up with Foreman. Neither worked.
Her eyes make me go weak at the knees and her smile is sexy and evil but as an actress I’m not too impressed.
She has a hot face, but her body is a little too skinny for my tastes, and her character as a whole is fairly weak.
That being said, I still chose “I’d have her babies” cause there was no “hot face, less hot body, but still bangable” option.
I don’t much care for her one way or t’other. She does have amazing eyes, but I find her vaguely annoying.
I’d also want her to eat a sandwich or ten.
I think she’s all right. House wants her back, and what House wants, House usually gets.
She’s fine. She was slightly annoying in one or two of the House “contest to be my new assistant” episodes, but once she was on the team she’s been fine. CTB was much much more annoying. Her being bisexual could have been exploitative but I think they’ve actually handled that aspect well. She’s skinny but she doesn’t look like she has an eating disorder, she just has that body type. I know some people don’t like her relationship with Foreman but I find him much more annoying than her in their scenes together. And in general. Not sure why there’s all the hate.
I like the character well enough, and I think the actress does a good job on the show, so I picked “she’s good”.
I don’t have a sense that their relationship is genuine, like the writers put them together because they couldn’t think of anything else. It seems like the two characters are desperate to not lose each other, without even enjoying being with each other . . . like “The Relationship” is more important than the people in it.
It looks like the numbers are fairly stable, so it looks like Thirteen isn’t widely detested so much as that those who hate her are quite vocal about it (in every thread).
True, but the numbers are skewed some by people picking “I would have her babies” when they mean they’d like to sleep with her, not that they love her character.
She occasionally has really great comic moments - like in the last episode, where she says to Foreman, “You seem sad - would you like me to tell you the story about my roomate in college?”
“Yah”
“Well, her name was [name], and she was a cheerleader …”
Just the way she delivers the line - like she’s telling a small child a bedtime story - cracks me up.
I voted that I’d have her babies, but it would be more accurate to say I’d like her to have mine.
I guess I watch TV shows different than most people, because I’ve never really gotten into the whole liking or disliking particular characters. I watch shows for the story, so the only reason I would dislike a character would be if they in no way advance the plot, as in they just show up and waste screen time.
I generally like the plots of House episodes, and thirteen plays into those plots, so she fine.
Appearance wise, compared to everyone shes a 9, compared to women on TV, she’s more of a 6.
I think she’s fine. She’s pretty, and while her character isn’t that great, the show is really about House, and all the other characters are just there to react to House and are pretty disposable, as the producers have demonstrated.
As a character, I think she’s fine on her own; the relationship with Foreman, though, is irritating me more and more. One of them has got to go to make me happy. Foreman’s a more interesting character, so I wouldn’t cry if she disappeared.
On a purely superficial level: There are hotter ladies on TV, but she’s definitely hot enough that I would not hesitate to jump into the nearest available sack with her.
Hatred is always vocal (as in politics).
She’d be prettier if she weren’t so skeletal, but her lack of a compelling character earned her my “Meh.”
Uh, since she has Huntington’s, is going to die a horrible death,and her offspring could possibly have the gene, why would you even think of having her babies/her having your babies?
