Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated Luteran style. Afterwards there was a reception to celebrate Reformation Sunday. I thought maybe Danish and stuff but there were breakfast casseroles, meatballs, fruit, cake, brownies, cookies and punch. So we had brunch in the Parish hall and didn’t go get a <snerk> Quickie! <snerk> I just fed my inner eight year old with a bowl of 'mater soup, a grilled pimento cheese sammich, and a glass of milk.
I am still happy the Dodgers won and tied up the series.
Other than that, I’m doing a lot of nothing today. TWPTB are confident that there is no rain. They even will show me a pretty picture with no rain on it. It’s raining though. Everything’s all wet, even the dogs. Silly WPTB.
A good friend who has been in bad health for some time now died this afternoon. RIP Beppie, you will be missed by many. Please keep Beverly and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Quit talking about coasters. Kennywood is open but its too cold and wet for even the OW to ride one.
Went out today to round up a stray cannon. Don’t ask ---- long story. Let’s just say we have some unusual phone calls coming in now and then. But we got it into the car and into the garage.
And it’s all coming to an end - back to work tomorrow. Vacations never last long enough, do they? Well, unless you’re vacationing with whack-a-doodles or relatives.
