This is a unique form of suck (warning: a disgusting amount of self-pity ahead)

Yep, nothing sucks quite the same as being all caffeined up in preparation for a long drive and having a vehicle slam into you, totaling your car, wrenching your neck, sending your glasses flying off, scraping and bruising your husband’s knee and elbow, and keeping you from going home on your-three-times-a-year trip home when you were looking forward to eating your grandma’s homemade ravioli, seeing “Harry Potter” with your nephews, and picking out a new diamond to finally replace the one that fell out of your engagement ring into oblivion.

Can I get an amen?

(no one seriously hurt)

amen and… aww sugeree, well at least your safe and not hurt right?

sorry **sugaree ** I spelled your name wrong up there

Damn sugaree! This happened tonight? I’m glad you’re all OK, but it probably majorly screws the holiday.

I think Arbie’s has a turkey day special.

:d&r:

Thanks guys. Arby’s eh? I think I’ll run out and buy a couple of Cornish hens.

Good thing the grocery store is in walking distance.

Ok, heres an amen;
AMEN !!!

i’ll see your AMEN and raise you a

SAY IT SISTER!
(sugaree, i’m so glad you weren’t badly hurt, and i hope his insurance will cover it…)

Car accidents are ALWAYS a special kind of suck. Must suck heinously more on Thanksgiving. Sorry to hear about that, and glad no one got seriously hurt. And hope the other driver has insurance!!!

Missing out on “grandma’s homemade ravioli” is a cryin’ shame. There oughta be a law!

Man, that bites. And missing homemade ravoli, too!

Glad you’re all right, though. Something to be thankful for.

My car was in a bad wreck about 5 years ago. It stayed in the shop about 3 weeks. I keep no car rental insurance, so I moved in with Ma and Pa. Talk about being back in high school! Dad would take me to/from work. I had to call friends for a social ride. They didn’t give me a midnight curfew, although I went past midnight more then than now.

IrishGirl I’ve added you to my buddy List…

Amen. Just last weekend, some teenager slammed into my parked car, which I’ve had all of two months, and totaled it. He was driving an uninsured and unregistered vehicle. It must be National Wreck Someone Else’s Car Week. Sugaree, can we hug and sing sad songs together?
