This Is The MMP

Rosie, on the other hand, knows the Nice Jewish Boys don’t get hot and sweaty.
Unless they are cutting their Mother’s lawn.

oh, flytrap, if you’re not willing to get hot and sweaty, you’re of no use to me

Rosie, how you doin’?

Swampy, flattery will get you everywhere.

Jesus Ch…Moses and Aaron on a stick!

We’ve had a yummy supper and now it’s time to crochet the night away. Such a hard life…

i wanted to try to stop breast feeding, but I am not ready

HMMMMMM… ok… let’s see…

I love how the color red on you brings out the color in your eyes.

Well then you can’t go to work Monday

I think I’ve convinced them that pain meds only work when the patient gets them.

If all goes to plan, I will be going home tomorrow, and I promise you that I know the importance of keeping meds on schedule.

Well, ain’t you a bit old to be on the receiving end?

Har har bobbio
Rosie, fortunately I don’t have that excuse because I work from home. I just tried not breastfeeding yesterday and it hurt really bad because my milk supply was building up. Its so much fun being a mom, note the heavy sarcasm

Irked, came home. I’m out of beer. All I have left is gin, rum, 151, tequila, sake, and 4 kinds of wine.:(

Me ,three!

{{{{Taters}}}}

Home from watching piddle pup.
I swear she goes out every 45 minutes.

Her mom and dad come home tomorrow afternoon.
I have one set of cats until Toosday and the other set on Moonday.

I need to irk tomorrow but I have a feeling I will crash when everything is done and I get home.

I went downtown to the jazz festival. I saw a jazz group. One of the musicians played bass clarinet. I talked to him afterwards. He actually remembered me from all those years when we’d played in the Rite of Spring orchestra together, playing bass clarinets. We remarked that a lot of people think the bass clarinet is a saxophone. I mentioned that my boss has his jazz group’s CD and it gets played at work sometimes.

good times

I am watching “Beyond the Great Divide.”
Virginia Mayo looks cut riding a horse in a skirt.

Why did she put a skirt on a horse?

Stoopit dishwasher! I started using the big pellets instead of the powdered dishwasher detergent. Last night, I loaded the dishwasher wrong and the pellet got stuck behind a cutting board and never did dissolve. So the dishwasher just rinsed everything over and over. *grrrrrrrrr *I moved the cutting board and I’m trying it again. So much for putting the dishes away first thing this morning. At least I still had a clean glass for my morning caffeine!

Last night, we watched Key Largo on TCM. It’s really interesting how much movies have changed over the years. For the most part, I thought the acting was not all that great and the story line and execution was occasionally hokey. Like the subplot about the Seminole tribe being forced to ride out the hurricane on the porch of the hotel. Apart from the fact that the hurricane apparently just lasted a very few hours, when the Seminoles were leaving, all of their clothes were dry! And maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t see where Bogart was such a great actor - he always seems stiff and detached to me.

On the other hand, I now see where all the imitations of Edward G. Robinson come from.

Today I’ll finish my stenciling. And we’ll finish placing the blocks for the bottom step from the deck. Other than that, no big plans. It’s gonna be another hot one - ugh! I’m definitely not a fan of summer heat.

Happy Sunday!!

Blurf.

Wound up sleeping with earplugs in last night, as the partay still hadn’t fully stopped by 5, though I gave up about 8.

I should be tidying the house up- the parents are coming to visit on toosdy, as they’re taking some insects to see the BBC (yes, I know this makes no sense; however, it is what they’re doing).

I also need to go do some gardening, and presumably pick even more strawberries. Perhaps today I’ll finally get around to making jam, though I will need some jars (and some scales, as the house ones broke last week). Maybe I should try strawberry and redcurrant. Hmm.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 73 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 88 with a fiddy percent chance of rain today. So, looks like possible mid to late afternoon rain/tstroms/apocalypse again.

I agreed, though I don’t know why, to be a Lector for the nine a.m. service this mornin’, so I shall. However, since it’s also Brunch Sunday I shall hang around for the 10:45 service as well. I should be thoroughly deheathenated as the Luteruns and Whiskyplians will have a whack at me today.

Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence. Need to leave a bit earlyish as I have chikin sallit sammiches and a gallon each of sweet and unsweet tea to transport and make room for in the church house fridge. I live such an excitatin’ life!

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Bogie was a Tough Guy.
Did you recognize Jay Silverheels?
Lauren Bacall is attractive even without a skirt wearing horse.
