About 2 1/2 years. Yes it hurt like hell but just for a moment just like any other piercing. Take my advice get them both done at the same time cause you will want them to match. Also it’s cheaper if you get them done at he same time. Word of advice, if you are large breasted, have barbells put in initially, it is a lot more comfortable.
And you have to be fastidious with cleaning and such cause they take a few weeks to completely heal. After they heal it’s nothing but fun, fun fun.
The good part is they look just…lovely right away.
