Me too…
Aw, it’s adorable. Especially Curly.
I loved Snooki getting poked in the eye. I also love it when the new Beavis and Butthead rag on her.
I’m actually a Stooges fan and couldn’t make it all the way through.
Hehe I thought it was hilarious! Snooki poked in the eyes - really funny . I am drunk and stoned right noe
“You got any dynamite?” cracks me up every time. It’s very Tex Avery.
I also thought it was going to be a biopic. That would have been interesting.
There’s already been a made-for-tv Three Stooges biopic, which I remember as being pretty good.
I’ll admit the trailer made me laugh. But 90 minutes, and with an actual plot? I’m skeptical.
Even the originals couldn’t pull that off. Their shorts were, and still are, hysterical. But their full length features? Not so much.
I just don’t think their kind of humor works in that format.
Found it online! Interestingly, produced by Mel “the Jews started every war in history” Gibson. Even anti-semites gotta love the stooges, I guess. :dubious:
Mel Gibson??? WTF? Maybe he thought Howard and Fine were good posh WASP names.
Trailer, didn’t laugh even once, and I love the Stooges. Boo to whoever bashed Shemp above – I’ll take Shemp after Curly anyday over any of the other Curly “replacements.” Brandon Hardesty should have been brought in to take one of them in character – didn’t seem any of them were all that spot-on, but just MO.

Or maybe those dirty Jews are ok as long as they keep to the role of minstrels?
Of course, if the only history you know is Biblical, the Jews pretty much DID start every war in history! But only because your BFF the sky wizard told them to, Mel, so you should be down with it.
Yeah, but new audiences aren’t going to understand that very well. Not because newer audiences are dumber, but because they didn’t grow up with the Stooges; the casting in the available episodes to watch has remained effectively static. So all they have are the old Stooges, and pop culture has enshrined Larry, Moe, and Curly as the Stooges. The lesser-known Stooges and the way the act in general operated have faded into relative obscurity.
A movie with Chris, Sean, and Sassy would leave people scratching their heads and giving it a miss. Even if they understood what the movie was trying to accomplish, there would be a whole lot more people saying, “I would feel much better about the movie if they just called them Larry, Moe, and Curly.”
Wasn’t Dumb and Dumber pretty much a “Two Stooges” movie?
Or at least a “Motel 6 Brothers” movie.
(get it? 'cause they’re like the Ritz brothers, only low-rent)
He threw the occasional homage to the Stooges in some of his other films as well - especially the Lethal Weapon flicks.
