I haz some mad ninja skilz!
So, really nasty storms are predicted through the night and from the looks of things they are likely to happen. Local schools have decided there will be a two hour delay tomorrow mornin’. I suppose it’s a good thing to always err on the side of caution but most of the time we have such predictions of rain/tstorms/apocalypse/plague/pestilence it does not happen. Should be innerestin’ to see tomorrow mornin’. If I’m not in Oz that is. If I do wind up in Oz I shall report provided Oz has teh intartoobz.
Why not both? 
Currently munching therapy nachos. Former PITA neighbor happened to be at Bullseye at the same time we were, softy DH let her mooch a ride home (she claimed to still be living in the complex). After he let her out, she headed back out of the apartment complex toward the bus stop. 
I was just watching the weather news and wondered which of our Dopers are in line for the storms.

Dinner was salad and very good. Bacon, mushrooms, peppers, onions, bacon. And some lettuce. Very nice.
Enjoyed blowing the stink off with the bike today. Had to watch the corners for the salt dust but it was soul-cleansing having my knees in the breeze. Just brisk enough on the way home to really be fun.

She said she though they were cute, but I think that she is tired of looking at me.

Just looked at the NWS Doppler for Birmingham, AL (to see what’s coming north) and it does look a bit ominous. Hopefully I will be fast asleep when the thunderboomers come by…

I do relate to the delay/cancellation due to nonexistent weather. The sprog has had several snow days due to Ermagerd! SNER! that didn’t happen. The sprog is appreciative, even if the school and parents aren’t.
I forced myself to get up and cook a feast consisting of a roasted hen, baked sweet taters, squashes and some leftover black eyed peas. So we now have plenty of leftover chick bird and squash. We too had to purge the fridge of leftovers and I want to report we are getting better about not wasting food. I also cleaned up afterwards and did some laundry all the way to completion.
Swampy that was indeed the first shout out from Ashburn via a message board.
I guess I have been sucked in to politics as I am watching the townhall and have only missed one debate. It’s tiring but I can’t help it.
I am puny but will be at irk early regardless. I could have got a Drs note and been a slug for the rest of the week but I have stuff to do, by God and intend to do it. My boss called inquiring as to my health as we have lots of sick folks now and some that are near needing hospitalized. I assured him I will be good to go tomorrow. So hell or high water I will be at irk tomorrow.
Here’s hoping all the sickies are on the mend and **Rosie’s ** sig to all.

I worked, I went to hockey. The Canes won.
On the way home from hockey, I had a shcool bus swerve into my lane. Twice.

Morning, mumpers! I tried to post yesterday but the interwebz wouldn’t let me, and they fed my post to the hamsters instead. Today I may be more successful, not that I have much to say.
I went to the gym last night, had curry for dinner, slept better than usual, and now I am back at irk. I have three meetings today which promise to be less than scintillating but I am going to see a band tonight so I have something to look forward to.
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Looks like bad storms today, right around the time I am unloading the truck.:smack:
This gave me an early-morning giggle, especially imagining you only being visible above the waist and from the knees down (or however long boxers extend.) Because, you know, camouflage…
I stopped at WaWa for breakfast because I didn’t bother making anything last night. They didn’t have my preferred breakfast sammich out and I ordered a bagel with cream cheese instead. I think the counter drone put about half a pound of cream cheese on this bagel!! At least that’s better than the time the drone barely put any on it. I wonder to what extent does a person’s own preferences affect how they prepare food? That might make an interesting study. Or not. Who knows…
It’s drizzly and more rain is on tap. I have 5 drawings in various stages of completion on my desk - gifts from Jason. It should be a busy-ish day.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 68 Amurrkin out which is also the predicted high for the day. We had storms from hay-ull durin’ the night replete with several tornado and severe tshorm warnin’s. :eek: There appears to be no damage to da cave which is a good thing. I got a text from the place where my orifice is statin’ there will be a delayed two hour openin’ today. I texted my irk PTB to inform I would be irkin’ from da cave first thing this mornin’ due to the delay. I got a text back statin’ I could irk from da cave all day if I desire. YAY! Da bear shall irk from home today. Also it looks like we had between four and five inches of rain with some street floodin’ in low lyin’ areas. Here’s hopin’ anyone else in the path of the storms is ok.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. I suppose I should purtify even though I am irkin’ from da cave.
