Time Warp MMP

lol
He took one, I took the other.
I should have taken both but since I was moving back in with my parents I didn’t want to push it too much.
I could have left both but he didn’t like the one I took and I didn’t trust him to take care of her.

So much for security.

Having my new secure credit card (with the chip) delivered in the mail the same day my new PIN is delivered in the mail seems a little not so secure.
I’ve never had both the card and PIN come on the same day.

At least they were not in the same envelope.

This is true.

I was a little afraid to open the PIN envelope, I was afraid it was a notice for jury duty.

Yes, the domino effect is essential when discussing time travel, but I also subscribe to the theory of the multiverse. So I’m not really changing this life, I’m getting a look at all my other lives. I figure in one of those parallel worlds, I actually am living the life I always wanted. And when I find it, I will continue on in that one.

I figured out why those tomatoes were 6/$1 - the one I cut up for supper was crispy and flavorless. Very disappointing. The one I had for lunch was not bad. So I guess it’s a crapshoot…

Supper was good otherwise - smoked ribs with Sonny’s sweet BBQ sauce, cuke salad, and N.O.T. tots. Ice cream later.

Don’t you have to…dispose…of your other self? I’ll take her. Glad to help out.

Time to recline the night away. MWAH!

**WHAT? Swampy’s Gay???! **

What else did I miss?
(thanks for the welcomes, btw :D)

Irk is irksome.
Papa Bear’s B day is tomorrow & I am making a cake and some Taters Anna tonight.
Pretty much all the news for today
except
I WISH IT WOULD STOP &*#@!% RAINING!

No, he’s Gray!!!

The movie I ordered last week came today: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. An excellent madcap Roman adventure notable for being Buster Keaton’s last movie :frowning: and featuring a cameo by Jon Pertwee before he was the third Doctor.

Future.

That’s what you get for going with a non-Amish farm, you evil heathen you!

Howdy Y’all! Home from men’s night over to the church house with the addition of a “formal” informal meetin’ afterwards. The meetin’ was about the purchase of a new commercial lawn mower which the Vestry seems reluctant to go forward with. We met to strategize. We feel that the current Vestry of the Church should not mess with former members of the Vestry. We KNOW what goes on. Details to come as they develop.

{{{Pearl}}} Welcome back! Come play some more!

One of these days I shall address the question of am I Gay, Grey, or both. :stuck_out_tongue:

OK, that’s all I got. Shortly I need to repair to the bedroom for the night. Da bear needs his beauty sleep to be all prepared for irk.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Local conf @ irk this week means long days this week. Walked in to house @ almost 7; changed outta irk clothes, grabbed J2 & went over to Ruby Tuesday since there were coupons.

I was starvink, so I got the salad bar option. Downed two plates (which took the edge off) & then were sitting there mindlessly playing on phones when some guy walks up to the table, “Hi I’m ____, the manager. I’d like to sincerely apologize for the delay, it’s unacceptable & therefore dinner is on us.” When we finished, waitress even asked if we wanted dessert; we got one so as not to be piggish.
Will definitely give them kudos as we didn’t even realize it was taking so long (they realized; we hadn’t complained) & handled it better than I would have even asked for.

Depends on your weather source, it seems. Accuweather says 98 for tomorrow (IMO, when it’s that stupid hot, a couple of degrees either way just does not make a difference), KCRA is calling 96, and Weather Channel says 99. Close enough to 100 for me.

I am SO looking forward to working in the air conditioning again! I’m also none too sad to be leaving some members of my team (others, I’ll miss seeing a lot, but will still be seeing them around), and am looking forward to more interesting duties.

I love your style.

Needed a laugh. My day started badly, with discovering that my projected lunch was not edible (sliced turkey is not supposed to be furry), plus a kitchen spill that I didn’t really have time to clean up around getting out the door to get to work (I was lucky to get MYSELF cleaned up and out the door in time to catch a bus that was of course running early). Irk was irk, biggest problem being it was too stupid hot. Got home to DH having a hissy because I supposedly lost his torque wrench. Funny how he blamed that on me mining out part of the storage room, and I certainly would have seen that size object in that room if I’d gone anywhere near it.

No, I did NOT encounter said tool at any time during that mine-out. Nor is it findable anywhere around the house. It’s too big for Borrowers to be able to grab it. I’m about ready to blame it on Princess Allie, out of boredom or mischief, pulling a Bastard Cat Trick by way of the well-known feline talent for hiding in impossible places. She probably took it with her.

High 104 degrees Amurkin today. Summer can end annnny time now. checks watch Any time.

The big dog continues to look silly. We shaved him a few weeks back (he would thank us, if he could). Now he is a 135 lb Mexican hairless. :stuck_out_tongue:

Off to re-heat leftovers for din-din.

Worked in da Hood again. The pharmacy gate in front of the registers was stuck mostly down. We were channeling Clerks all day, “I assure you, we’re open!”

QUOTE=GuanoLad;18607960]Well, that would be a new problem caused by the wealth. I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.
[/QUOTE]

I’d like the opportunity to prove that wealth would not corrpt me.

The first time I went to a live showing of RHPS, I was 40. And sober.:dubious:

Dids he use Venusian Aikido?

Never been to a live showing of RHPS, not sure whether I should care or not.

It’s weird how some things seem to happen all of a sudden. Like this morning - it’s dark out - really dark! It seems like just last week it was quite bright at 5:30 in the AM. And last night, it was dark at 8:30 - I was surprised when I checked the clock. Guess it’s one of those things you don’t notice till you notice, yanno? But we’re just over a month from the Autumnal Equinox, and time marches on.

**FCD **drove today since they’re threatening storms this afternoon and riding a bike in the rain ain’t fun. Personally, I don’t think it’ll rain till after sundown, if at all, but I took only one meteorology class, so what do I know? Anyway, if I want to go somewhere, it’ll be in the truck.

My only plan for today is a load of laundry. We’re promised rain for the rest of the week, and we’ll be at my mom’s Sat and Sun, so today’s my only chance to hang stuff out. One quick load - easy peasy. And I need to empty the dishwasher, but that just takes a coupla minutes.

Onward! Happy Tuesday!

Seeing RHPS in a movie theatre with a floor show is great, or at least it used to be. In college, I was in the floor show at the smaller of the two movie houses in town as Magenta. I’ve seen it several dozen times, I lost count after 50. A few years ago, some friends and I decided to go see it. I was very disappointed because there were more shout backs than there was actual dialog in the movie. It’s out of control these days. BUT I was gratified to hear one that I started in 1978 still in the mix. When Brad and Janet are discussing the castle they just passed and she says the bit that ends with “and you may never come back to me”, I shouted “You should be so lucky!”. I heard a group shout that at my recent encounter. Not the whole theater, but enough to make me feel proud.
