It’s precisely that thought process that makes them idiots. Go to DC, write your congressman, etc. You have a legitimate message, yet they are sending in the worst way possible, and they are too fucking stupid to realize this. I wonder how many of them voted.
Some people can get fired for being “inconvieninced for a short period of time” ya know.
What if someone dies because the nearest paramedics are inconvenienced for a relatively short period of time? I bet those protesters would quickly rethink their actions if one of them suddenly needs medical attention and the nearest ambulance is stuck in traffic.
Sure. And keep your ass in the free-speech zone that we set up on 215th street. And maybe I’ll try to win the free-speech lottery so that I can exercise my rights on alternate Tuesdays in July.
Fuck that and fuck you; I’ll march and protest wherever and whenever I want.
I don’t need a license, I have a permit:
The mother-fucking constitution.
Don’t like it? That’s the point. You think we’re worried about winning over Rhum Rhunner, Gobear, and Tuckerfan?
Wise up, chumps. The purpose is to piss you the fuck off and remind you that a far-off war affects you.
Wow, guess it’s working better than expected, huh?
Come now, World Eater, surely you realize that only people like Ace of Fuckwits have civil rights.
And you know, we actually have a name on these boards for people who wander around trying to piss other people off. It’s being an asshole here, it’s being an asshole in real life.
Actually, if you really want to protest whenever and wherever you want, without a permit, I suggest you lie in front of tank crossings at your local army base. Maybe on the runways at the airforce base. And don’t forget the firing ranges! After all, random civilians aren’t the ones doing the killing, it’s the military that’s doing that. So go inconvenience them.
I repeat, that showing why you believe the war to be immoral and engaging the national conscience does far more to rally broad-based support than your so-far self-indulgent pageants.
Dr. King didn’t talk down to people as you do or treat them as sheep to be led. He directly confronted injustice and shamed the nation into ending segregation. You could learn a lot from his example.
**MARCH WHERE IT WILL MAKE A FUCKING DIFFERENCE! **
Go have a “die-in” in the Oval Office (you can go anywhere right?), not a fucking intersection in NYC. How dense to you have to be to see that you are only turning people away from your cause with you pointless actions?
Try something else for godsakes, and fuck the love of beer, stay the FUCK out of my way while your doing it.
What I find most amusing about Acehole is that in his selfish disregard for the rights of others and his unwillingness to listen to criticism, he has become the thing he is protesting. In their singleminded determination to do what they want and to hell with anyone else, Acehole and Dubya are a matched pair.
