No, trust your instincts. I’m a really gullible person who isn’t sure about half the shit we call trolling down here. That guy is trolling. He came here to troll. There is absolutely no way anyone could frame that Michael Jackson question the way he did and not be trolling. In fact, I note that thread was closed for a while, which means either it auto-closed because of all the reports, or the mods had to talk about it.

The closing has Colibri’s avatar beside it, suggesting he closed it, rather than @system. So likely closed for mod discussion.
Also, unfortunately, due to the statement about “Peter Pan syndrome,” I do feel a need to comment. I’m hoping that doesn’t feed the troll, turning the thread into a huge argument. I’m trying my best to stay neutral on whether or not MJ actually molested people, to avoid that rabbit hole.

I’m willing to overlook the misspelling of what was obviously meant to be “cowbell” and look into some of the deeper questions being raised. I’m currently composing a detailed response which I can only hint at here as it’s going to take a lot more serious thought to complete. But I thought it was most astute to recognize that in the modern era both Democratic and Republican parties are vulnerable to Pavolvian responses to cowbells.

As I see it, the cowbell is basically a dog whistle for imbeciles and halfwits, of which the distinguished OP of that thread would be an example. Those too stupid to discern the hidden meaning of a dog whistle, and continue to sit there in a sort of slack-jawed motionless stupefaction, can usually be roused to action by the sufficiently raucous clanging of a cowbell, which eliminates all subtlety.

It looks like that one was closed for incoherence.
Looking at some of his other threads, there’s a real “how is babby made” vibe to them. So either he’s a troll or he’s an illiterate ignoramus. Or both.
