I actually think IDing them would be the better of the two options. I doubt ignoring them & cornfielding them will dissuade the more persistent ones, but IDing them would give the rest of us a heads-up when Stinky pops up once again.
You might be right, but that isn’t a decision I can make on my own. If I remember, I’ll bring it up.
This was a 2 part problem.
- I did not understanding how visible those message were. Now that I know I hopefully won’t forget to hide the messages too.
- I provided more info for the new thread title than normal to try and make things even easier in the future for any of the mods.
I have to thank the poster that flagged it for me. That was very helpful and we don’t always see eye to eye for sure. Thank you @BigT.

No problem. I saw it mentioned here and remembered the mods talking about how they had to choose to hide move notifications. I thought it might be unintentional, and that reporting it would tell you about it faster.

I actually clicked on the ATMB post and reported it noting I was reporting the poster rather than the specific post. That post is now gone (a mod responded to say that they would do that).
I do not remember the username to check if they have removed him in general.

We’ve actually had an unusual number of purely troll or trock accounts pop up or become active in the last few days. This one didn’t seem worth any extra effort.
