I was one of the few responders in that thread who actually responded with an “entirely benign, appropriate thing” that people do. Most other responses are the usual stuff like “people who block the whole aisle with their cart at the grocery store,” “people who block the end of the escalator,” etc. that are neither benign nor appropriate.
Eh, I don’t think you were trolling or had any ill intent, but just consider that some people feel that ogling women (or men) is not entirely benign and appropriate. And even if undetected ogling is benign and harmless, informing everyone that you do this (and therefore putting them on notice that they are probably being objectified at the beach) is not.
Yes, that OP should have been sent here. Not giving one single reason, of which there were many according to him, was a dick move, trolling, something. Was he really wanting advice for handling black people/white people interactions? Or was he pulling some social experiment on us, to be revealed later? Jackass!
I was saying that the unattractive people were doing something entirely benign and appropriate by finding their spot, even if it worked to my disadvantage. I wasn’t claiming that I was entirely benign and appropriate.
I just noticed this from the share your covidiot stories thread. This was posted there, by the same OP as the Virtue Signaling or Cowardice thread:
Odd coincidence?
Well the woman was definitely black, so I definitely smelled something stinky.
Were the dogs definitely black labs? I think some parrots were snickering at them.
At the risk of giving an inappropriately serious response – it certainly shows why the reasons for and the wording of, the signs are germane.
Back to silliness: maybe they were definitely Black Labs, but not apparently fairly healthy?
Hey, that’s true. That troll has apparently been hoist by their own petard.
That is odd. The vets we take our cats to haven’t been letting anyone into the waiting room.
Okay, who summoned the “superstar”?
Well maybe I should report you for trolling because one of the reasons the moderators shut down the thread was because of you and some of the other posters constant whining and badgering about why the signs were on the chairs in the first place. But thanks for taking the cowards way out.
Here’s the difference. This was during the pandemic and I was not fully vaccinated. The office was trying to socially distance so their sitting where they did was creating a potential harmful health issue. It also was not my office and not my place to order people around. The lady at the display was not harming anyone, and was not in violation of any health code regulations, assuming she was vaccinated.
Gee that’s so funny.
A sarcastic response to your deliberately provocative idiot act is not trolling. But report away, nobody else is the boss of your report button. You could get lucky - the mods might well feel that I would have been wiser to step back earlier from that ridiculous thread rather than continue to engage an obvious troll.
Yeah, I’m afraid you’ll have to do better than calling me chicken to get me to call you what you are anywhere other than where the board rules allow me to.
I just wish you would admit that anyone that refuses to answer your questions on this Board makes them a “troll”. I was not given any warning by the Moderators for being a troll which means they don’t agree with you so you ran here for protection.
Your obvious trolling makes you a troll. I laid out my reasons objectively earlier in this thread. Your ruse is failing.
Oh, that’s the same jagoff who threw a hissyfit when his local team won the Stanley Cup, because…reasons. (Where the hell do you live that they let you drink on the bus?)
Dumbass can’t even get the name of the Cup straight.
Well then you better report me. Let me know how it works out.
Oh I will. I will. You will shake with fear at my mouse clicks.
